Hello Army! Running around all day getting stuff done. Had a bit of recognition for my cooking adventures today on the Goan Culinary Network. Nice little bright spot on a dreary rainy day.

Congrats Dusty!

Well I woke up super early to help my friend (Vanessa, the one I'm going to NOLA with, the one who went thru ugly custody crap) have a garage sale. Her garage has been full of stuff since she bought the house last year. She's never been able to park in the garage. It was driving me nuts. She's got this beautiful Nissan Murano sitting in the driveway for anyone to break into or steal, while the crap in her garage is all locked up. We started at 6am, finished at noon. I made her leave a few things out in the driveway for FREE, swept out the garage, made a trip to Goodwill with the remains that didn't sell... I'm pooped! And hot and sweaty and my feet are filthy.

I get home to the sweet pleadings of my super sweet Sadie asking me to drive her and a friend to a concert downtown Phoenix tonight. Which of course she'd like me to stay nearby incase anything comes up.

Off and running again!

I will sleep in tomorrow.

April, I saw the pic on FB. Very nice job. Our garage was on my to-do list as well. It was awful, but it's done. I could still get my car in, but the other side was a disaster. I really want some shelving/storage, until I start pricing it. It really bugs me to pull in and look at the mess every day. So I'm a happy camper, until the men decide to mess it up again.

and all this time one thinks they just to have to pay for the home they live in.... ( house note) but consider the city taxes( property) county/parish taxes, state taxes, federal taxes.... so we end up paying the city to live in it, we pay the county/parish to live in it, we pay the state to live in it, we pay the US to live in it......
