Got some Chinese/Thai people that just opened a Chinese/Thai takeout joint in our neighborhood shopping center. Got two Thai spring rolls thinking they might taste like the Laotian spring rolls I remember. Nope. Not even close. I suspect there are many variations of a spring roll even within the same cultures.

You got that right, Bronze. Mama Chak doesn't make hers like anybody else around here. A lot of places scrimp on the filling, but not Mama. Plenty of cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, and pork that you can actually see.

Hi All, Lori, just ignore his demands. What a jerk - oh - and bill him for the windows. I got myself a silver 2.5 Provari at the weekend. Yes, they have 3 and 3.5 but I just don't need them. Plus it was less than $100. Suits me just fine! More later.
