I'm beginning to wonder if dripping or other delivery devices used mostly for testing multiple juices is more of a hinderence than a help to those of us looking for the "right" flavor, but not because of user error or any fault in the device rather because of two reasons, your tastebuds need time to recover so that's going to effect your review of the next juice, good or bad, and that's not fair to the juice. Plus, if I grab a fresh boge, punch it, prime it like forever, slap a tool on it, put it in a tank, fill it, check ohms, dial in the power, finally vape a new flavor,all alone, in a quiet dimly lit room, put it down, medidate a little...if I find I'm reaching for it again then I know I'm onto something! But if all I can think of is, "I did all this work for this?" then I think it's fair to cross it off the list and move onto the next. Slow and steady approach gets you to the light, downside is you can't sample everything under the rainbow at internet-like speeds. It's worth it if you haven't found your "goto" juice(s) yet, in my opinion. When I look to my right I see 3 provaris, tanks, z.atty.pro, etc. On my left is an ashtray that used to be full of butts, now it holds my car keys, infront of me is an ipad with an inbox with tracking numbers for 2 kinds of Reo's, HHV order, and a few misc juices from the classys. Yeah, today is a good friday. So good that I'm sharing it with you little people who live inside my ipad!

I qualify as a little people in the iPad, as do you new friend since you now live in MY iPad. :D

I only use Nova's so my sampling goes into those especially since that is how I will be vaping the juices. People have mentioned that Nova's mute the flavor, so if I sample a flavor outside of a nova I would surely be disappointed. I really hate being disappointed let alone disappointing myself. I will continue to be blissful in my ignorance as I REALLY do like my vapes eve n though they are vaped in a lowly nova. ;)
LOL!!!

But your reasoning is not all that unreasonable. As for me, I like to sample juice in whatever it is I plan to vape it in. Convenience or inconvenience be damned. :)

If the juice umm is reflex inducing, it is easy enough to empty tank back into the bottle from which it spawned, rinse everything out and for sure change the head, refill with a much loved juice to get that awful taste out and resume vaping on my merry way. :lol:

All good points.

Dripping IMO produces the best vaping experience except for the inconvenience of it. That kind of ruins it for me. So the cleaors might not be quite as good but they sure are easy by comparison. As long as I don't mix the two, I don't miss dripping. And yes, cleaning a nova is no big deal.

Right after I sent that comment, I received an email from HHV telling me my order has shipped. I wonder if the HHV chefs were reading our posts :)

Looks like 30 ML Angel's Kiss @ 24 strength 50/50 pg/vg with super dooper heavy menthol hit added (I don't like menthol but if you're gonna have it, why not go all out I say!) and Vapin' Chimp but I'm gonna steep that for awhile first.

Order number please?
I have a friend who's gettinf annoyed even though i told him about the wait. I wanna give him an estimate.

After using a multitude of delivery devices, I can tell you that dripping gives the best representation of the juice flavor. Gennys do too, but I wouldn't vape a genny to test juice. They sometimes will over-enhance flavors. Some juice doesn't taste great on ss wicks at high wattage. Cartos are fine but after dripping or using a genny, you can definitely taste the filler material. I decided that cartos don't represent the true flavor of the juice. Novas and other CE-type clearos are even worse. I've given up on them. A trusty dripper RBA like the Phoenix (or similar device) has proven to be the most consistent and best delivery of flavor/vapor. I think they even give a better vape than my trusty HH.357, probably because of the increased airflow in the cap. I still use cartos and carto/tanks but only with juice I know and trust. :2c:

Ok I just got off the HHV site. I know it's been a while since I've checked in with the Army, but I didn't see Gandalf or Shadowfax. Did I over look it. Also saw a few I'm not familiar with. Can someone give me an update please. (Guess this is what I get when I focus on just a couple of things).

Geez X, A good friend of ours sent me a Phoenix RBA and I am having trouble getting the metallic taste out of it (I put in a new wick/coil). Not sure if I'm tasting the coil or the silica. And to be fair, I haven't broken it in yet. I'm holding out hope that is all it is. Have you experienced "break-in" periods on this device?

Hey tnt..been awhile.

Gandalf = Legend
Shadowfax = Shadow
Gollum = Sludge

HHV ran into a little copyright issues and changed the names. New flavors? Not sure. Heavenly Army perhaps? I know they are always working on new flavors and you can expect a new one to come out at any time.

This!! Dipping is one of the best, and worst things that's ever happened to me. The best because of the absolutely amazing taste and throat hit I get... and the worst because I finally noticed how bad and muted juice flavors are in all of my other delivery systems.

After starting to drip, I can't even use my nova's anymore... yuk.

It was probably 1973 and I went to Underground Atlanta and Johnny Winter was jamming with some folks in a bar. It was cool watching him from 20 feet away. Saw Ten Years After twice in concert.
Biv, I THOUGHT that was Alvin Lee in your sometimes-avatar.

And Johnny Winter - He's one of my guitar heros. I've seen him play twice. The first time, Buggs Henderson made a guest appearance (and it was always a treat to see Buggs). The last time was probably 10 years ago or more and he was pretty frail but could still wail on his guitar. I've got a bunch of his albums and still listen to them.

I saw BB King last year. He can't play like he used to, but he's still got "it". Something magic about him.

Thanks Bronze. Guess I should check in with the Army more often. Just to many fires going at one time now

Though I've hardly met you yet, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, April!
4463287399_1c422c97bb.jpg

I bow down to you more than I can say for the insanely hard job that you do, and I hope you have a splendid, relaxing day in the sun.

I second Blix on digging all the REO love going on it this thread all of a sudden:D. But if you're happy as a clam without one, then more to spend on juice, right? For me, I wasn't happy until I got my REOs because the %100 VG juices that I prefer were just making for too many headaches. As much as I love the little "garage remotes";), I don't proselytize because not everyone will have the need for such an expense (cause, yeah, ouch:p). Speaking of ouch, anyone want to talk me out of the Hornet RBA I'm about to buy??

Dripping carries a high reputation- unless you're steering 78000 lbs. down a mountain ! :ohmy: I've recently taken to using CCV 1.7 Cartos (Resurrectors) on my REOSmini, and use Kanger T3's on my last remaining Twist. Joyeteck is not trucker-tough. REOS is. My next big adventure is finding a basic RBA (or another device) that might help me find more enjoyment from my new VV Grand. Not that I ain't liking it already (!) but might as well go for best quality from my equipment, right ?
