Almost wish I had never started dripping. Lol. Cause I haven't found anything else that'll hit as hard and give as much vapor and flavor.

Ok question, Is that statement true about Drip attys in general or is it do to the fact that it is a Rebuildable dripping atty?

And by that I mean let's say I go buy a nice Dripping atty like a HH 357, could that potentially be a hard hitter hit lots of flavor and vapor?

I am finding myself more and more wanting a rba or even just a dripper, and I think alot of this is I just want to keep trying new and different things. I just know right now I do not have the time to fiddle with a rba.

I do think I remember someone (maybe Becky?) saying that she has a rba but you can buy attys that are already built for it? Maybe I should look into something like that so I can have the ability to tinker when I can but still be able to use a RBA in the mean time.

HH357's put out tons of flavor and vapor :) I love mine

So If I understand correctly, once a HH357 is done, it's done correct? that is the piece you replace out, and there's no replacement piece other than buying a new one?

How long does yours last before you have to get a new one Slim?

Yep they are just like a 510 atomizer but are very well made. They are not rebuildable. I've had mine for about a month or so but I only use it when I'm at home and in the mood for dripping or for use in my amp tank.

From what I've read they continue to work very well for months and months

Thanks, I wanted to check on that because the site that I found them on were selling them for like $20 - $25 price range. Where do you get yours from?

I'm pretty sure you can only get them from avidvapor.com :)

Fran, it is generally true that dripping produces the best vape in terms of vapor and flavor. And quite noticeably. I have been tempted to get an HH 357 myself but the price is a little steep relative to other options and doesn't make for a good fit for me right now. One truism for many people is they enjoy dripping so much that it is the only method they want to do and to go back to clearo's is a letdown. There is some truth to that. The problem with dripping is you are tethered to your juice bottle because you have to refresh frequently. Some designs have come a long way in addressing that problem. The VMod, REO, and some rebuildables have improved these concerns. If I were you, I would start out simple. Get yourself a Phoenix style rebuildable. You can pick one up for about $10 and they are simple to rebuild. It holds about 12 - 15 drops of juice which is about 3x more than a standard dripping atty. So you can go 20 - 30 minutes between refills. But they are very simple devices and VERY effective. In fact, the Phoenix style RBA's still give me the best quality vape I've had. At some point you might want to try a Genesis style RBA using SS mesh. I have one that holds 3mls. It produces a very nice vape. Not quite as good as my Phoenix but close. It's a little more complicated than the Phoenix but very doable even for the average person. You can get Phoenix-style RBA's all over the place. Knockoffs come cheap. I got one from GotVapes for $11 (see link below) and they're genuine. It's your call. But I would consider strongly starting with a Phoenix RBA. Lots of people here can help walk you through it if need be. You can venture out from there. But you may find what I am finding...the Phoenix RBA still produces one of the best vapes out there. If there is anything better, my guess is it isn't very noticeable. BTW, the HHV 357 is a solid choice for people using VMODs and REO's (i.e., bottom feeders).

Awesome thanks Bronze! I was also doing some more research and Saw the Killer 705s and then came across this clone sold by madvapes
The 5mL Terminator RDA Tank, Chrome

This looks interesting to me because I can use it as a drip or as a tank. Any thoughts on this? The reviews I have read so far on ECF about it have been pretty good.

I am going to look up the RBA tutorials on the phoenix later on today (probably after work) and check it out.

Lol. A little wordy this morning. I agree TOTALLY. I started dripping on cisco 306's and even shucked out the money for a HH357. Don't get me wrong the ciscos and the HH357 work great. But they indeed have a life span. Now enter the rba's and rda's. For me it's like having the functionality of the HH357 but you have the ability to start brand new whenever you want. Since making a new coil is very cheap and next to effortless I find them hard not to recommend. But if you don't want to mess with making your own coils I'm quite certain you would be happy with the HH357's. A cheaper option would be the Cisco 306. They work good as well.

I have a couple Killer clone tanks. They work great for dripping but I haven't had much luck with it auto feeding in the tank

I know many people who use a Terminator but I have no experience with it and can't speak to how effective they are. I suspect it will be like anything else in the vape world...ask ten people and you will get ten different opinions. :)

Start out with a Phoenix RBA Fran. It is widely accepted that is a good jumping in point...and for many, a great place to stay as well. I believe if you order from GotVapes, it comes already wicked/coiled up so you can just pull it out of the box, fill, and have at it. If all else fails I could make you a couple wicks and mail them to you until you get up to speed.

The Phoenix gives you a good idea as to the "other" world of vaping and it is so simple that it gives you confidence to branch out if you choose to.

Agree Dante. The simple Phoenix RBA's are simple and durable yet produce as good a vape as just about anything out there. Some folks like the hobby and like to branch out trying the latest and greatest mouse trap. I understand this. Some just want to get a device that is highly effective and simple. I understand that too. I've been known to fall in the middle somewhere. But I must admit, I agree with you...the simple Phoenix RBA packs a hell of a punch. It's probably why so many of them are sold. Folks just like them.

Good morning, Army:)! Golden Retriever at the end of the rainbow?

:facepalm::facepalm:

Fratic, you were thinking of Iowa Gal's new RBA, not mine, though I now have two of Hoosier Vape's Phoenix RBAs on the way 'cause Bronze and Dante like 'em so much, and the price was right. Oh, I'm so hungry; no multi-quotes this morning. I'm on my way for a GI test (painless) for which I've been fasting (not even gum allowed:glare:); would've been nothing if I'd slept through part of it; but the end's very much in sight now. See you all once I have something in my tummy!

Smooth slides into the weekend, and fantastic Friday vapes to all :vapor:!

Uhoh Bronze. You know who's getting the blame if she hates the Phoenix. Lol. No worries. Just pop in and ask if you have any questions about it. We're always more than happy to help. This new version from Hoosier's should be getting to me a day or so before you get yours so I'll already be up and vaping on it.

LOL Dante! If it were anyone else I would worry. But Beck is probably the nicest person on this thread (among many nice people) so I feel safe. :D

Dante is right Beck, if you need any help with those RBA's just ask. There are plenty of us that can help if you need it. I recommend you go through PM though because the thing I find if you ask on the thread is you get 10 different people jumping in and all it does is serve to confuse you. Hopefully your Hoosier RBA's come already wicked up so you can just fill and vape. Do you have any coil building experience Beck?

I love dripping. I have a Phoenix that didn't work very well when I first bought it and it quit working pretty quickly. And I still haven't rebuilt it yet. But I have tons of disposable attys that I love. I found a sale a few months ago and I couldn't resist stocking up on them. I think I have about a hundred of them. Just the regular Joye 510 bridged dripping atty. Some regular resistance and some low resistance. I prefer low resistance. It may be a good place to start before delving into rebuilding. I definitely don't have time to rebuild but I bought rebuild supplies for the FDA e-pocalypse. Though I need to fix up my Phoenix today if I can find the time, and make some coils for my Vivi since I took a vacation day.

For the record (and for those that don't know), we have a resident gear head in the Army. He is a bona fida geek! It's XFooYen (or just X as I call him). He hangs out on the hardware thread mostly. X is a genuine gear geek and as knowledgeable as anyone across ECF when it comes to gear. It's a deep seeded hobby of his. He's perfect for asking questions. But (and this is a big but), you must tell him your experience level and not be afraid. If you ask X what time it is, he'll tell you how to build a clock. So just tell him where you are with your vaping level and that you want to keep it simple to start out and X will adjust himself to that level and always offer you good advice.

Anyone ever visit Hoosier vapes? They have the 4th version of the phoenix rda's for $8 and some pretty nice looking stainless steel tips for $4. Had to order some. Lol.

Sent from Galaxy Note 2 via Tapatalk 2.

I got my AGA-T2's from them. Damn! just ordered 2 Richman atty's this week. No more gear this month. :2cool:
