Never hurts to try one now and then if that's the reaction you'll get! Serves to remind one of all the horrible nasty yuk stuff. Well Done!

Forgot to mention I thought I wanted a cigarette last night... omg it was terrible! Smoked less than half and put it out. Gave me a headache also. Now I know better..

Last full day of vacation. Not ready for it to be over but my own bed and washing machine are calling my name..

Kaden and I. Gotta spend more time behind the camera today. No group photos yet. Wish the boys liked having their pics taken..

Damn girl, you're just as pale as before you left. I thought I told you to get away from that lounger by the bar. :D

Nice picture though! :)

As for vacation pictures, here's where you get to catch up on mine: Mexico 2013 (Gran Bahia Principe Coba) - David DSouza Photography and Design

I'm still editing and updating as I get time. :)

Go get one, Bronze. It is a great gun for the money. I own two.

I know. My bro and neighbor have Glocks. I think my bro's is a 45 and my neighbor has both a 45 and a 9mm. He keeps the 9mm in his car and he used it to ward off a guy who was looking to separate him from his wallet while eating lunch in a KFC parking lot. I'm not sure, but is your model a 9mm? I think it is. And if I'm not mistaken, a Glock 45 is standard issue for most law enforcement these days. Used to be a standard 38 revolver but the Glocks are so reliable and the added semi-automatic capability makes it attractive for law enforcement. I keep a 357 revolver for home protection. I can always count on a revolver to fire.

Feel free to correct me. :)

Nice pix Dust. One would almost think you were a photographer. Couldn't help but notice you sneaking in a few pictures of the nearby scenery. :)

I liked that storm cloud picture. Very cool!

Chak, I just had a nice surprise vapemail package show up at my door :)

Thanks buddy!!!!! Really looking forward to trying all 3 :D

I felt bad the bacon didn't do it for you the way it did me, so I sent the original Hot Tamale that sent me back to childhood. If you like the Guevara, the Cellar is open at House O' Liquids.

Truthfully RJ, HHV is in a league of their own. Few others replicate what HHV does (from a NET standpoint). The only way you will know what you like is to try it. I prefer Qick nic juice and Goodejuice but HHV still owns me. There are others like Ahlusion (though I don't care for them), W2V,HoL, MOV, and the new one from our friend Clay.

Bronze, you got some from Clay already? I'm still waiting for a shipment! Color me green....

I do that once in a while, just to remind myself how yucky they taste. BTW - nice picture and glad you had a great time on vacation!

Have to check out those pics later. Sounds like you also had a great vacation.

Got to get a move on now, or I won't make through the traffic in time to have coffee before my first class. Not looking forward to 7 periods today. Have to call on Lion's a method for attacking the day.

Later gang.

I have a 17 (9mm) and a 21 (.45). I am not sure, but I think the 17 is the most widely used by law enforcement, followed by the 21 as far as popular Glocks with the LEOs. They are great, simple, easy to maintain weapons. Both of mine are the full size versions.

I love the 13 round capacity of the 21, and the staggering 19 round capacity of the double stack with the +2 plate. That is some serious ammo, and give you a lot of options. My 17 stays in my "bug out bag" with an extra loaded clip. In about ten seconds, I can be ready to deliver 38 rounds of fury to any intruder.

Now, there is almost no way any sane person would break into my place, cause my oldest two sons are almost as big as me and pretty solid (for a couple of punks). Still, I rest better knowing what I have. Your revolver for home defense is fine, but it would serve you well to get a 17. With the new spring in it, you can unload those rounds in a hurry with very nice precision. I just use the standard 3 dot sights, and I don't really think about how I am aiming anymore, they are very natural. I am pretty good with that weapon, even though I maybe only shoot 2 or 3 times a year.

Bullets are too damn expensive to shoot like I used to. Me and #1 dropped $250 this weekend.

The Glock is the only semi-auto I would favor over a revolver. I want ironclad assurance my weapon will fire. A revolver does that for me. Semi-automatics do not...except for the Glock.

Ammo is out of sight. And that is if you can even find it. It took me three months to find some jacketed hollow point 38's a few years ago. I just one wanted one frickin box. Finally got some Hornady and that's what I keep in my weapon. I use cheap aluminum cased Blazer 38 specials for plinking around.

Well nothing is as reliable as your revolver. I can clear a jammed round in a couple of seconds, but if there's no cover.....that 2 seconds could be too long.

My 17 has never failed me. I have had the 21 jam once, but my hands were placed improperly so I may have impeded the slide. Very reliable, that is for sure, those Glocks.

I don't like to put many pictures up but have to share my two little granddaughters...unfortunately my grandson was with his dad this weekend so we didn't get to have him for the weekend. In a couple of weeks is our huge family camping weekend and he and grandma will spend a lot of time together. Here is my Ella (2) and Nellie (3 wks)

Sooooo CUTE Iowa Gal! And I present to you my niece Charley!

Just got home from overnight run to Hagerstown MD (I-81 was awful) to find out my wife was fired today. Racism. Bull-Hockey. I'm the arshole in this marriage, she's the one who has always tried to teach me better. Eventually, Alcoholic's Anonymous and my obviously better half got me to at least see things more evenly. Gives me the red-.... to think she's been railroaded by a couple of 'get-even' types when I've heard my wife defend black people in white conversations for nearly thirty years now.
For the record, she said "I don't understand why anyone would use the 'N' word anyways. It's such a filthy word." during breaktime, and two black women complained to a black H.R. Supervisor. Now the wife is unemployed.
Good thing I don't have a Glock but I still have an AA sponsor.... this is wrong treatment of a good person.

That is unfair and unfortunate Papaw! Could your wife not provide any evidence to counter what was claimed against her? Did they specifically state that as the reason for letting her go? Because I would think that she could fight it..

Pretty low move there by the ladies that did that.
