I just bought a bunch of Mountain Dew 2 liters at Kroger for 88 cents each.

I used to be a diet dew freak. No soda now. That stuff will rot your teeth, especially Mountain Dew in large quantities.

April, oh, that looked so painful.. Crawling back to the patio! Hope it heals quickly!

Sounds like we should get some answers on Friday...its been a long week. Just trying to relax a little after work and instead of grabbing the bag of Ruffles (my all time favorite) I made some Edamame/Kohlrabi and Hummus....pretty tasty and way better for me.

It's tough (pretty impossible for me) to make good food choices when the stress level is high. Hope the results are as good as can be... My grandma was moved to a bigger hospital yesterday, and had tests on her kidneys and heart today. She's not happy, but was declining in the small town hospital, and finally relented to go after much persuasion.

Bridget best of luck to your grandma....yeah my dad was so grumpy yesterday (not that I blame him). I felt terrible leaving mom with him when I headed into work. I've been trying to do about 1/2 days each place...my dad won't sleep when I'm in the room..thinks he needs to entertain so after lunch I head to the shop and then he rests. The only reason I can make such good food choices is because we went to the farmer's market last night and have nice fresh veggies...

HUGE Shout out to Misty our Suppliers Admin who stepped up to figure out and get folks their Team ECF tags in OldSoldiers absence (which continues to worry me!).

Sorry IA, the Ruffles sound a whole lot better to me. :)

Do any of you guys live near Milwaukee? In a couple weeks I'm making my annual American League ball park trip and this year we are going to Milwaukee to watch the Brewers play.

I'm hoping I don't end up with a Brewers tattoo on this trip :)

When I lived in ChiTown, I went to a Brewers game. But it was in their old ballpark. That was like early 80's back when they had Robin Yount. :)

Oh Yay, I just noticed I got my Team ECF Tag now!

I have no idea what that means....

Oh well. Maybe cause I am on tapatalk....

Same here lol

The "Team ECF Folding @ Home" under his name. After completing one unit, you apply for the badge, for lack of a better word. Old Soldier is the one in charge of handling the applications. Sounds like Old Soldier is away.....

Sarge has been missing for the last month or so. He wasn't keeping too well, and then dropped off the radar.

We haven't been able to track him down since, and we're all getting more than a little worried about him. :(

Back from gas station with my $425 million dollar (I WISH) Powerball ticket. Still plan on getting up at midnight for early delivery in Greenville SC.
I've been reading a lot on this thread about Kanger, Co-ops, that dirty so-and-so, etc. And I just pick up the same little REOS mini I've had for over a year now, squonk (LOVE that word :thumb:) me some Oompa into a RM2 and enjoy. I am kinda glad I'm off the PV hamster-wheel, but I really do hope those of you still trying new stuff find something soon. Please don't take this post the wrong way; I dislike hearing some on this thread may have stressed on a co-op or wasted their hard earned monies on unsatisfactory equipment. Hopefully y'all will find something soon that you find as pleasing as GT's Provari, or my little mini.
Besides, I if I want to waste money, there's always the next big PowerBall jackpot (i.e. dream on !)

I traded away my Reo Grand a month or so ago but man do I miss it. I traded it for a V2 Epipemod that I just traded away on Monday for a Noble One hybrid that will be here tomorrow. I'm hoping I like the Noble one as much as I did the Reo.

Techno-marketing. You allow ECF to monitor your PC. Or something like that. Not for me, do as you wish...

Lol. It's actually protein folding for Stanford University in their research for Cancer, Alzheimer's etc. In part similar to what SETI had going in their search for extra terrestrial life, but an overall better and more honourable cause.

Your computer uses its free cycles to break down protein analysis packages that then get updated to Stanford's databases.

My stomach is a free cycle that breaks down the proteins in tonight's chicken breast dinner. But I wouldn't call the end result a 'database'. That I understand, but I have no clue what Dusty just said....

(I think I may have inadvertently redefined 'download' :p)
