The steeping does have a lot of influence in HHV juices - I remember having a bottle of Black & Blue really come alive after a few weeks of steeping.

On the other hand, PG/VG ratio plus nic levels will also come into play with the flavor. I had a couple orders back in March/April where I dropped the nic level to 6 mg and lowered the usual 50/50 PG/VG level to 40/60 on some and 100% VG on others and for me, I lost all but a hint of flavor! Especially on the non-NET juices. I am now repairing that by mixing higher PG/VG and nic levels of the same flavors to the old juices and it's working out well.

Adam himself even stated that PG is the major flavor carrier. Having said that though, HHV does try to compensate when going to higher or 100% VG by adding more flavor extracts to the blends.

I new about the VG neutralizing flavor. Actually "Deej" of Deej Stuff had told me about that but I didn't know that the Nic level would effect the flavor. Is there no end to what a guy has to know about vaping. I just keep reading this is wonderful and that is wonderful and if it wasn't for the bottle of HHV "Legend" I have I would be ready to seek psychiatric help for thinking one day I would get lucky and find something that was actually what the reviews claimed it to be.

When I ordered the second bottle of HHV Georgia Peach Tobacco I had read on their site that they automatically adjusted the flavor content for the PG/VG ratio. However I changed the order from the original 60/40 to 50/50 and I asked them to add additional flavor and they said they would but no change on this end at least none I could taste.

I just went and checked again (all the HHV have the caps off and steeping) the original Peach Tobacco smells exactly the same as the one that is supposed to have the extra flavor which is no peach smell at all. The strange thing is the original is lighter in color almost pink and the extra flavor bottle is much darker and the color is brownish. Heck, I don't know I will let them sit for a couple of weeks and see what happens.

I'll just use my cheap local juice and sneak some Legend now and then until the Gods visit and bless my stash and turn them into nectar fit for the HHV Gods.

Well I suppose these old bones should head to bed soon. I've got to say I'm finally feeling like myself again..it's a good feeling. I've got to say the support/friendships I've developed here have meant so much to my healing journey. Thank you my friends...

Good evening all. Lots of chatter here. Been home an hour so just been catching up.

Holman... I only give my juice about a week. That would be Sluge, Pirates Booty, Legend and Serendipity. As for Dragons Fire. I didn't like it when it was fresh. But after 4 weeks I couldn't put it down. So DF gets the time. I'm gonna get in trouble for this. I have Huntsman from 6/26 and Dark Horse from 7/25. Still don't care for those. But lots of others do. So don't take my word.

But for me "Legend" is the first juice that I can say is "really great stuff" (stuff is substituted for the word actually used).

I had the same experience to be honest... Legend was the first time I REALLY liked a juice and got me beyond the "well, this is better than smoking" attitude.

I'm so glad you are feeling better Iowa Gal! I'm gonna follow your lead and peel myself from this chair and get a shower and get in bed. I'm halfway through my week...I'm off Friday. I volunteered to bring and serve food at the Honors Society induction Friday. I'm in the PTA so I thought I should at least do something. I'm proud of my son too for being asked to join. I'm not a complete failure as a parent so that's good.

I will take your word for it. One I like your steep times better than some I have heard. After all I am just going for wine that comes with a with a cork not one that is corked and covered with dust from 3 years in the wine cellar. Heck I would even settle for Mad Dog 20/20 at this point (that show how much class I have).
