Trading in my work truck today JOY.
Moving from a nice F150 to a Mittsubishi Fuso box truck. Its like going from a Cadillac to a Red Rider wagon. LOL.

All is well in the world however. I've still got about 3 mls of Serendipity in the new-to-me Reo Grand :thumb:

Dang, that's a lot of extra room. Are you gonna use it?

Yessir General Sir! The problem with the pickup is that there is no room for stock/extra parts. With the box truck, there are shelves and bins for incidental parts that may have been left non-ordered. I had to have a sticker and expansion tank delivered from Tampa to St. Pete beach (hour drive) because they weren't ordered by the supervisor last week. 1 hour water heater install became 3 hours because there is no room for stock.

Understood. I had a natural gas conversion here last January. Had to replace my water heater as part of the conversion. They came out and had the same problem....no expansion tank. Took them three times as long fetching a tank. Hard to make money that way.

Tracker finally updated and it looks like my order should be here tomorrow, unless its like most things that have come in the last week or so and its always a day off the projected date and I get it Saturday.

I did see where they shipped it, 2 day priority so that is very nice!!!

Hard to wait, eh? :)

Bangkok, Thailand
Your Kayfun Mini showed up, and your Kayfun Lite got forwarded by BKK Customs.. Those are my guesses, because that would put me in a GREAT MOOD too!! :D

Yeah, that would be great news, however, nope. What did happen was this. When I first ordered the Provari (Oct. 6) I couldn't use my Thai address, because it wasn't on their list, so I typed in my address in the States thinking I'd have it delivered to my daughter. A couple days later I get a letter from ProVape saying they needed more information on my debit card account, i.e. name of the bank & phone #, first 6 digits on the card, blah, blah… Sent that back to them and they in turn said they wouldn't accept the card - but they would accept a money order or Western Union. At this point, $$ from my account was put on pre-authenication hold for the amount of the order and was showing as a withdraw from my account.

I told them I might try WU, but to myself, I didn't want to use either money order or WU as I had problems using them before in Thailand. (Oct. 11) (They don't like sending their money overseas for some reason.) I also asked if the funds had been returned to my account. They said yes and also agreed to ship directly to me in Bangkok, but would have to adjust the shipping.

Anyway, I finally got a friend of mine to use his American credit card to finalise the order, shipping address to me and billing address was his home address in US. Provape sent notice that it was shipped on Oct. 18, but I still hadn't received a refund! More emails to Provape, yes it was returned. Last week I called the head office and told them the story - they asked a few questions and said they'd investigate and get back to me within seven work days. Now, I'm starting to sweat it out! It's over 3 weeks now and nothing showing in the bank!

I'm thinking, "DAYUM!!! I paid twice for that fricking mod AND battery charger!!!"

The rep from ProVape had been real nice dealing with in all our emails back and forth; she said she'd keep the help ticket open till we found out what was going on and gave advice on what to send the bank as documentation etc.

Yesterday was day seven and still nothing… last night I spent most of the evening making copies and PDFs of our emails and invoices that they sent me getting it ready to send to the bank. Then I remembered talking with a salesman a bit back who said it took only a couple days for returns if it's a credit card, but for debit cards it could be 15 days. Checking the calendar yesterday was the 15th day since the order was finalized. I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and wait another day or two.

This afternoon I stopped at the mall to get my hair cut and as I'm walking to the salon, the cell phone rings - it's the bank and the lady says the funds have been returned. I spun round walked back to the car and got my bankbook, went to the bank branch at the mall and update it. Sure enough there it was! I tell ya, it was like a crap load of bricks was lifted of my shoulders.
Great time for a beer! :toast:

(Sorry this took so long, now I haven't time to catch up on all the pages that have sprung up. maybe I'll catch up tomorrow.)

Good Night Army! Have a safe and blessed day.

I just repeatedly hit the F5 button on the tracker page, even though I know it wont update till it gets to my post office.
But its still fun to do and kills a little time.

dreamreaper,

You do know that you can go to the USPS tracking site enter your tracking number. You will then be presented with the option to receive an email every time there is a change in the state of your package.

I am sure you knew this but just in case you didn't - ;)

HolmanGT,

I am not sure if their emails get caught up in the ISP's (comcast) spam catcher or what, but I NEVER get anything from the USPS when I sign up for there tracking emails.

Hmmm... that is very strange. I don't think I have ever heard of anyone having trouble with USPS email updates. That said if you are like me "LUCK" is not my middle name.

You might try going to Comcast and adding usps.com to your phone book and white list.

I really find the emails convenient (except for the ones I have to sign for) when the mail person puts it in my box I get an email saying "Delivered" and I walk up to the community boxes open the door and Eureka !!! It's Christmas or something like it.

Not to mention I don't have to walk up to the boxes several times just to check or explain to the Postal Person why I am watching him load mail into the boxes. Sometimes they really get uncomfortable when I insist on helping them get the mail in the right boxes.

Little did I know when I started Vaping that I might be arrested for stalking Federal Mail Carriers -

Good Evening Army. Had a notice stapled to my pay statement today; As of Jan 2nd, my employer will become a smoke-free facility. No more smoking areas, no smoking anywhere on company property. I immediately pulled my REOS mini out of my shirt pocket and said,
"That does NOT apply to these, right ?" My supervisor agreed, then asked me how does that work ?
same results from the H.R. Manager.
"It ain't smoking 'cause it ain't tobacco !!" holding up so far.....
