Heather's Heavenly Vapes - THE BIG THREAD

I'm decorating today myself. I was supposed to already have it done, but I deep-cleaned the house instead. As I'm getting older and my son too, I'm feeling the need to downsize the decorating. I want to have it all done except the tree by the end of today...the tree has to wait until about three weeks before Christmas because it'll be a real tree and I don't want it drying out. Son is still asleep, I'm drinking coffee, and vaping the last of my Sweet Swish. I may have to get another bottle of it...it's a good diversion and so so SWEET and makes the room smell amazing. GREAT PICS! I really enjoy seeing everyone.

Hi April. Hope you got a good night's sleep. I was up early fixing everyone some breakfast. Now the ladies are finishing a puzzle and my bud is thrashing away on his geeee-tar.

Sounds like a nice morning. Sometimes I think a "normal" work schedule would be nice. Long weekends, holidays off.. Enjoy! I'm just bringing new little souls into the world on a Sunday.

Oh Buggs, I meant to tell you but forgot: I agree 100% that heavy thick VG-rich liquids are marvelous in bottom feeders. I have a secondhand Reo Mini (bought from the only other vaper I've ever met in Canberra). I've been trying out The Plume Room's juices which are at least 50/50 and sometimes 70/30 VG/PG. They are so so so good in the Reo. I have been idly considering buying another one but I don't think I will yet. I really want one in lime green;)

You really know your way around these mods. Thanks for the info. I've decided to wait a bit on a purchase for myself and maybe watch for a blem. I should be shopping for Christmas gifts for others, anyway.

Thanks Pap! I'm holding out till something breaks. I appreciate the feedback (and some reassurance that I'm not really missing out on TOO much).

As long as you have backups for your backups and a good delivery system or two, that's a great plan. It's easy to get caught up in the shiney new gadget frenzy around here. I have a lot of wants, but I usually ground myself before getting carried away.

It took a whole cup of coffee to read through last nights posts. :)

WOW!! Great pictures of the HHV family!! Loved seeing all of you! Well not ALL of you  Thank god no shower pics!!!

Today will comprise of chilling for the morning then getting out the Christmas decor. I have a love hate relationship with that. The place we live in is configured oddly. It's cool but weird. We have three floors and a basement. We have our entry/lobby on the first floor. Our second floor has guest room, sitting room/library, hubby's office and a couple of full bathrooms. Third floor is kitchen, laundry and dining room with access to roof deck and pool. Our fourth floor is our main living room, half bath and master bedroom and bath.

56 stairs from lobby to fourth floor. 69 stairs from basement to fourth floor. Yes, grocery shopping is sooo much fun especially when we stock up at BJ's/Sam's Club/Costco type places, which we did yesterday. Multiple trips up and down the stairs yesterday and with the Christmas decor, we will be doing it again today. Oh joy. <eye roll>

How is everyone else this morning? :D

Yup, time to decorate the banana tree again, string fairy lights through the bird of paradise and mango trees. Winter is finally here - it was a chilly 25˚ C this morning. brrr.

Have fun Robin. :D Ever think about putting in a dumb waiter?

You and I are alike when it comes to Xmas decorations. I don't do it anymore. My wife does it all.

He mostly does the lifting and carrying. I do the decorating. :D. We have several Rubbermaid big tubs that it takes two to carry up the stairs, I help with those. Everything is now upstairs. A little break before starting.

We bought a fake palm Christmas tree last year. Hubby and I have the same warped taste sometimes. ;)

We wish we could put in a dumb waiter. We even thought about how we could rig a rope and pully system down the center of the stair well. We rent so it is kind of hard to do anything that is a structure change here.

I don't have many newer photos of normal me but I wanna join in also.. Here's a shot from one of last years explores.. Exploring older abandoned buildings with an absolute amazing history is just one of those things I love.. I hardly do it anymore but here's a shot of a building I believe is being torn down as we speak.. The metal Thieves have pretty much stolen or broken anything worth saving, the asbestos and 17 years of being abandoned has taken it's toll.. A little history- This is the main entrance for the old Medical surgical building which served badly wounded Veterans returning to the states.. The complex this building sits in once housed over 100 buildings for Mentally ill individuals and was slowly closed in the 90s ..

Good morning, army. I've got 7 different new juices with caps off in the cupboard. It smells like.... ....victory. Gotta football it today. The wife is from Kansas, so she's excited to watch the Chiefs lose again. play the Broncos. I'm more of a hockey fan so, well, that ain't happening this year :-x. I stole 2ml of 6-day-old SF, mmmmm good . Gotta hold off vaping any more of that for a while.

My shadowfax won't be ready for another 2 weeks with a month of steeping.. I have 2ml left in a tank and so I decided it was getting mixed.. I'm now vaping vanilla dreamy shadowfax.. I could of let the tank empty but I just couldn't pass up the moment of finally mixing the vanilla. Am I banned from the army? :p

I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. I think you should hop in the car and drive over and show me. :)

I used to put a small "v" notch in the caps. Sometimes they would twist out of place. I quit doing it only because I couldn't find the need to do it at all. Even with 3mm wick, I don't have a draw problem.

I just started coiling two- 2mm wicks overlapping only through the coil for the Princess. She is a chain vapor and was getting burnt hits sometimes. That seems to be working pretty well and notching the cap is certainly not necessary with only 2mm wick coming out the sides.

Well, xxpic - I admitted to mixing some of my other chocolate juice into my Oompa to make it a bit sweeter and either nobody noticed, or if they did notice somehow I remained in the army!
