Man so sorry to hear about 73 haven't been following thread much lately.I've been feeling sorry for myself lately with my wife not doing well(nothing compared to 73) and me just finding out I have a torn rotator cuff.Makes me feel shameful after reading how 73 is handling his situation..God bless 73 and hopefully I can learn from you how to handle things in a better way.

Frank, when I posted on your FB that we'd still be getting together for that bike ride I hope you know I am not trying to be flippant or in denial of your situation. It is my belief that with God nothing is impossible and if He has a miracle waiting just round the corner for you, then His will be done. If not, then we'll have that ride when we meet up again on the other side. Thanks for sharing your life with us here. Keep the faith.

Nice post Dale.

My Mom taught me at a young age to be grateful that no matter how bad things seemed, someone always had it worse. I kind of lived by those words. Well, kinda nothin'. I HAVE lived by those words. Sometimes I feel like complaining about something then I hear my mother telling me, "Someone always has it worse". It puts my puny problem in proportion. And anyone likely to hear my whining stands a good chance of being that "Someone who has it worse".

I know your wife has had it rough. Perhaps Frank's story will reinvigorate you so you can continue to be a positive influence to your wife. :)

Man this month has been so full of gladness and also such sorrow. All the new additions and the lose of a fellow officer, and now 73. My docs appointment was great and filled me with happiness, then I find out a brother here is having a hard time. I think I'll celebrate life and the lives to come and go. For they do go graceful in the night. Where the angles fly and watch over each and everyone of us...
Sorry but like GT said. There are no words to express the way I feel right now.

Frank: GT said it best, and I simply don't know what else to say.

I will say that most of us, as we get older, begin to question why we are here and whether we have made any difference in this world. I can say that you have touched many of us here on ECF just in the short time we've known you. I can only imagine the positive impact that you've had on your family and friends and those who you've known in person. Whatever the future holds, I hope you can take some comfort and satisfaction from knowing that you HAVE made a difference. I wish I could have known you in person and not only through this electronic medium.

If you are not able to post any more, then just let me say "farewell" now. Look me up on the other side . . . whenever that may be. I hope it's a long time for both of us. Godspeed my friend.

Good morning, Army. A morning picture inspired by 73's bedrock -

FaithFamilyFriends.jpg

I remain so grateful that these have fully enveloped you and lifted you above physical frailties, 73. Since back when we met in the musicians' thread, you have made me laugh and smile, inspired me, and always impressed me in a great number of ways. I do hope that you come grace the Big Thread again soon and that our many thoughts and prayers further comfort you in some way.

All my best to the Army today!

BTW - I'm back home now and refilled all the tanks - Huntsman, Serendipity, HA and Maha Ras.

How are you liking the Maha Ras, Chak? I've found that it gunks up coils pretty quickly but it's worth it. I love the stuff :)

Today I loaded up an evod with 2 week old Legend with extra flavor. Wow is it delicious! I can't put it down!

I like it. It's got plenty of flavor even when my buds are acting up and yes, it does gunk up the coils fast. I'm on my second ProTank full now. Loaded up a tankful last night along with one Huntsman and one Serendipity to get me through the day.

Now I've got three uncharged Twists and only one charger. uhg!
