I rebuild the heads when I get them. I find the stock heads choke, and I start to get an "off" taste from them. I've noticed this particularly with the NET's. Some folks take off those extra flavour wicks or what have you. I just prefer to rebuild them with 3mm wick and 32 gauge.

I'll have to take a peek when I get around to it. So far it has been performing flawlessly but I have run through only a couple mils. It's a Kanger so it is sure to go sideways on me.

BTW, I've been vaping 10-month Pirate's Booty in it. I think this juice is at the end of its life expectancy. It tastes like pure chocolate. It isn't the protank either. It has the same flavor in the RBA. I get no tobacco and none of that same feel it once had. Adam told me his stuff can last up to a year in the refrigerator. Well, this hasn't been in the fridge so I think it is about shot. Considering I would have killed for this juice at one time, I find this a very, very sad day.

Fran, Kanger seems to be in true form. I've never seen more quirks from one vendor. They start out great and then get all wonky. Goes way back to their T2's and every model since. I decided to pick up a mini protank and it has been great. I'm just wondering when it will turn squirrely on me.

How could you not?!, with some of the juices you've been vaping? I positively detest the "stock" coil setups of the ProTanks. I rebuilt all 10 of the "spare" heads that I got in the co-op this last weekend.

Guess some of us are easy to please and/or too lazy to care. I'll wait till I get a stock of old ones all crudded up and I'm down to my last two or three fresh before raising a finger on recoiling. It's not that I don't like to, it's alloting the time to do it. Usually, that kind of tinkering goes late into the night, which is when I am most productive (10 PM - 2 AM)

You all make me want to try rebuilding my own coils, but then I'd have to order more stuff, and find the time to do it... Nah, I'll stick with my evod heads (on the KPT) and cotton wicks until they die. I get good flavor, TH, vapor; so why jack that up?

Off to a football booster meeting this evening, then hitting the snocone stand. Won't be long before it's closed for school. August 8 is just too dang early to start school, but I get my Fridays off to myself again!

That's what I do too, sorta. I toss my gunky heads into a bowl, then clean and re-wick them when I'm close to running out.

I've been using up all sorts of old juices, trying to empty out that box! I have to agree with you. Most of it is around 9-10 months old, was not refrigerated and it's pretty yucky. I've been dumping out a lot of it. Trying to hold out for 22 more days... 5 months with out ordering and 1 year smoke free coming up on the 28th..
