I also carry two vastly different flavors when I'm out and about. Legend and Butterscotch while in town yesterday, and happened to hit both devices at the same time. Believe it or not combining the 2 was actually very good, and made for a very unique vape. I may just have to sacrifice a bit of Legend to blend this into a new combo for a twist whenever Sir VapeTounge rears his ugly head. I hate the little ........

Just my opinion but I would go with the ProVari. As much as I loved and miss my Reo the provari got much more use

Never owned a ProVari. couldn't comment on one. But I know me; If there's a way to break it I will and if not I'll invent one  That's why I like my REOS minis, they are durable enough to withstand me :D

Thanks Bridget, i suppose, sometimes you could get bad heads, but what are the odds of two bad heads in the same starting kit ? unless the same inept guy was doing the coiling or the same roll of bad wire. Anyway i have re washed everything, ordered more heads from a different source and waiting for my vw before giving the pro tank another try. I also called the place i ordered from and they told me they would exchange if none of that works.

Mazinny, I've got a 2.5 ohm head in my protank, and it tastes burnt no matter how low I crank my VV. It's new, just put it in today. I think sometimes you can just get a bad head. Normally I have no trouble with the protank, use them exclusively. :2c:

Thanks Papau, followed your instruction but did it without the vodka or isopropanol. I will get some of that since someone else told me i should clean the battery connection with that every once in a while also.

Btw, the problem was definitely with the eGo Protank setup, Just Peachy was just fine with my other clearo. Didn't like it as much as caramel capppucino, but it was fine. Trying Heavenly T now with the vivi nova i just got. Pretty good, a little too sweet for my taste in tobacco though.

Good Sunday Morning Army ! Hoping everyone has a Safe and Blessed Day :)

p.s. Mazinny, since the General is obviously stuck in his rectangle (bed), yes you can wash attys. Some use Vodka, I used to wash mine in 91% Isopropanol then rinse with Hot water. Either way, stand on end and allow to air dry. Just don't fire one while still wet/ damp.

Chakris, what do you mean by rebuilding your kangers. do you have protanks or other kanger products ? Ia rebuilding more involved than disassemble, wash, dry and reassemble ?

If anyone else knows i would apreciate some help also.

Damn, it's noon already and I was supposed to be out power washing the sidewalk round the house. Not that I haven't been productive this morning, we went to two markets and also got rice and stopped at 7/11 for soft drinks.

I think I'll get a bite to eat before going out into the hot sun - power washing will get better as the son goes down behind the house.

BTW - Good afternoon Army!

I got 5 kanger cleaned and rebuilt yesterday and now enjoying some new juices in them. None of the coils are over 2 ohm and they're work flawlessly so far.

I'm glad I stocked up on CarbonThief's juices. Now I can order the high nic HHV juices to fix my low nic stash without fear of having nothing to vape.

Later gang, gotta get some work done. :)

Mazinny rebuilding involves making a new coil, and wick. It's not recommended for a beginner, but once you get the hang of it most find it easy enough to do.

My Pro-Tanks work fine on a standard ego battery, so I'm at a loss as to your problem.

gotcha, definitely don't want to start with that yet. What are the benefits ? to save on heads, or do you use different/better quality coil and wicks ? Yeah i know, most people seem to love their protanks, and mine made great vapor and had excellent throat hit, it was the flavor ( or lack thereof ) and burning taste and warm throat that was a problem. I will try with different heads.

People build their own coils to A) Save Money in the long run. B) Get the resistance they want, and C) It's fun to use something you built with your 2 hands.

You will have a much better experience when you get your vv/vw as changing the voltage or wattage can make a big difference with some juices. My pro-tanks really do work just fine on my standard ego's, but the flavor can be enhanced on a vv/vw. The NETs seem to gunk up my coils faster even than the sweet juices, so do get the Vodka and learn how to dry burn the crude off.

My grandma is home. Ended up taking her by ambulance which she was very upset about, but I was relieved. She needed oxygen for the transport and couldn't get a portable for us. When I left her she was comfortable in her own recliner. The dr this morning said if she would use her cpap machine it would improve the way she feels. She isn't breathing well and it over works her kidneys to get rid of the toxins. She said she would use it, but she's had it for years and hasn't been able to get used to it. Hopefully she will try. Thanks for listening to me whine. :)Hope everyone has had a great Sunday.

Bridget glad your grandma got home and hopefully she will listen to the doctors. Just got home from a visit with my parents and they are both resting so much better at home. Tomorrow will be a long afternoon for us with appointments and I'm a little leary about the portable oxygen tank (don't know why they call it portable cause it's pretty heavy)...but people do it every day we'll figure everything out. We got him home with it..

Man I'm beat....not worth two cents right now. Been outside in this oppressive heat all day long. Power washed some of the driveway, laid out in the sun, and tried to cut the back yard but it's too thick and moist and keeps bogging down. I got most of it done. I should have raised the blades this go round. Whew! I'm soaked with sweat. I gotta take a small break before I go shower or I'll get light headed. I think this is the first summer where I've actually said I'm ready for cooler weather. This has just been a weird, wet, cooler and cloudier than normal summer here. Too much rain and my grass is too thick. Cutting grass is great exercise though! Trying to see the positives...........................

Wonderful news Bridget! I miss my Memaws...they were truly my second Mothers and in a lot of ways I was closer to them than my own Mother.

Bronze, I need suggestions for pipe tobaccos from NET.com. I want sweet ones that are not too strong or nasty. What do you think I would like?

I'm not Bronze (thankfully, I'm Papaw) but I can vouch for NET.com's Black Cherry. I PM'd Carbon Thief, the proprietor, and asked for mild pipe tobaccos. He suggested Dover Court, Coventry, Chris' Blend, BA Mango Vanilla, Black Cavendish and Gold. They are all steeping so I can't vouch for those (yet) but I've read a lot of good reviews on the BA Mango Vanilla and the Black Cavendish. EDIT- I should add that Clay offers Heat extraction or Cold maceration as tobacco extractions. I went with Cold Maceration as it is supposed to produce less Throat Hit. Browse his website, a lot of good info there.

Kanger heads for the new T3, Evod and ProTank can be rebuilt with new wicks and coils, as well as, the ViVi Novas. Some folks, like Dusty_D, rebuild the attys as soon as they get them saying the factory built ones are crap. I use mine first, cleaning and what-not, then rebuild as they breakdown. Saves money.

About your ProTank attys, I was think that this, the factory built ones sometimes use different wick material, depending on where they're made. Some wicking material has break-in time as something in it is burned off. If you have other atty's from the same vender as the one(s) used in the ProTanks, it might be a good idea to dry burn/dry fire them before putting in the juice. Dry firing involves attaching the atty and base to the battery and pressing the power button on for a second then releasing. Pulsing the power on and off 6 - 7 times until there's no more smoke or smell coming from them.
