Good morning Army. I hope everyone is well.

Congrats on the closet, Sunny.

Good morning, Lion! All well here.

I've taken the next week off work to catch up on some un-used vacation from last year. Haven't touched this years quota yet. I'm hoping to get a few rounds of golf in.

Let's see if I can make that happen. ;)

Happy Friday, Army!

Good Morning and happy Friday!

Have a great vacation Dusty. Hope you get your golfing in.

I have nothing going on all day and I'm really looking forward to it. Tonight I'm going to a very nice restaurant with co workers for a free dinner and apparently unlimited wine, which has made me the driver for the night since I don't drink. It's hosted by a pharmaceutical company. Yep... I'm dining with the enemy ;).

Coffee and blueberry muffin this morning.

April, check out the first post and see if it makes sense to you now. My thread got put in the Sticky section! :)

Do both, so if I'm not around it can get taken care of by somebody else. I'm not going anywhere, and will still be on here..perhaps even more than normal. :)

Thanks Robin... It does. Do the patches gums and mess really have a "dismal" failure rate? I know quite a few people that successfully quit using them (including my husband who quit by using the gum well over 10 yrs ago). Looks like a research day for me :)

I know for a lot of us, myself included, I would smoke even with a patch on or even between chewing the gum. Most times the gum would just make me ill. Each of my quit tries, I cheated. My longest quit was with the patch and welbutrine, less than a month after stopping, I was back to smoking full time. :(

I have not cheated one time since vaping full time. :rickroll: That is Huge for me!

That is huge Robin and I am happy for all of us. My family in WA all went back to smoking after vaping for 6-9 months so I'm more inclined to think some ways work better for some people and finding what works for you is the most important thing. What seems to be consistent on both sides is the need for emotional and social support while quitting. Which is why I think active members here have a higher success rate than those who don't have an outside support system.

Support is a huge factor. You would think, though, with as many you had vaping out there......they would've been able to be their own support system

On another note... Does anyone else have hummingbird moths? These things are enormous! One got in my house last night and I just killed it. So disgusting... All that crunching and guts oozing.

Blech!

Good thing I don't eat breakfast.

Never heard of those.

Thanks :)
Another guy, Tvan, and I were tossing ideas around on an unrelated thread. I came up with the idea of flooding the media, kinda like the courtroom scene in Miracle on 34th Street. When the post office delivered bags of mail to the courtroom, but doing the digital version. Then Tvan said something about doing it on one special day and it came to me World & National Vaping Day! Perfect. He kinda pushed me to get the ball rolling. Well....them's the results ROFL

Yes, give us a head's up here Robin when the time comes. Thanks

So I'm sitting here after work and my Dad brings me this...

http://www.cubcadet.com/equipment/cubcadet/zero-turn-riding-mowers/rzt-riders/rzt™-42-rzt42-2013

Oh my gosh! I cut my back yard in 10 minutes. I still can't believe it. I'm still in shock.

And I've made so much progress with the Fly Lady. Moreso in mindset than decluttering as I really keep a clean house. But yet I didn't need those cookies cutters I've never used, and I don't need that instruction booklet for a trampoline I no longer have, and I need to quit putting off things on my to do list, and so on. So I have an HVAC guy coming out tomorrow to do some things at the house I've been putting off, and I've made eye appointments for both of us, and next is the roof, and so on. Just really getting things in order. It feels good. Now with this lawnmower, my quality of life is going to improve so much.

Just a really really good state of mind lately. Tomorrow is grass and shrubs, getting HVAC looked at, orthodontics appointment, and then my Fly Lady kitchen zone. Clean up and clear out mind-body-and soul.

:)

Nice mower RJ! My Dad used something similar to cut his grass when I was coming up. But it was called a Kid Cadet. Looked similar to this.

Exactly... So maybe they didn't really want to quit, or vaping wasn't the answer for them in the same way it has been for us. I think vaping offers another alternative method to quitting and is not unlike other methods. It works for some and not for others. I'm always hesitant to say something works while another doesn't. I prefer to keep it as "this is what I tried before, this is what worked for me".

Anyway... Yes, the moth was disgusting... I hope to never see that again. I'd rather deal with the scorpions.

You killed it?!

I saw my first one earlier this summer. It was beautiful!. I had no idea what it was.. but the fact that it was moving like a hummingbird led me to do a search on Google for "moth that moves like a hummingbird". Imagine to my surprise when I saw the "Hummingbird Moth".

I'm jealous! We do most of our yard work with a machete.
