I'm right there with you David. You know...as I was sitting here today waiting on the HVAC guy (an idiot by the way, highly recommended by a good friend, who will not get any of my money) I was looking around and realized my house is clean. Fly Lady is flying away for me. YAY! It became like another chore. I'm old and been cleaning for years. I don't need lessons. LOL!

So I'm sitting here eating pizza and drinking beer, the to-do list has been put away, and life is back to normal. I've got to quit getting caught up in my friend's shenanigans. ;) But I wanted to thank you David...your post put things in perspective.

:toast:

And I also realized the lawn mower my Dad gave me, which he got in a deal with a friend, will be given back to him. Too big for my garage and my yard is not conducive to use it. Hell, I'm on a hill and I'm too afraid to drive it up to the backyard and it can barely fit into the fence. I don't need anything else in this house. He'll understand. So bye bye Fly Lady, and adios big ... tractor!

WOOHOO!

Your are Welcome. But really it's the truth. I headed to work at 8:30 this morning and got home at 10:30 this evening. At 50/60 hrs. a week I don't have alot of energy for much else. Yes the house is not as clean as it should be but not as bad as it could be. But it's just me and the dog doesn't care as long as she get's to eat. I skipped the pizza tonight and went with Hot Pockets and beer.

I'm in the band. Found that out as soon as i got there.

We went over the songs I learned (in 4 days). I was not really confident with them but a work in progress. They were ok and showed promise. Then during a little break, the guitar player starts playing Crazy on You by Heart. I start singing that. He gets all excited and we work some more with the bass player. The keyboard guy comes in and starts in. Then the drummer starts. They are blown away. They say they didn't know I could belt like that, and why didn't I tell them.

Practice ran over by an hour. We worked on that song and then tried Barracuda. I'm not as comfortable with that one, but the notes were hit. The trick is to control the note not scream it. I truly credit my ability to control those Heart songs to quitting smoking.

I'm in!!

Way to go.

Good Morning Army. Been absent awhile, doing other things/ working hard/ being lazy. Good thing is I can always come back to this cozy little corner of the Forum. Congrats on making the band, Robin, I know this is something you've wanted.
Hoping everyone has a Safe and Blessed Day and a Great Weekend :)

Bathroom scale says 195, way too much for a little guy like me. Want to diet, but y'all keep talking food.... but I might be married to wrong woman to diet !
Washed, recoiled both minis this morning. DF on fresh coil @ 1.3 ohms and trying out some well steeped HHV Blueberry Muffin on a fresh coil @ 1.4 ohms. The BM is surprisingly authentic, much better than some of the other muffin bakery vapes I've tried. Might have to re-explore the HHV menu one more time....

Good morning!

Papaw... Good to see you!

Robin... Congrats on finding a home for your voice :). I hope there will be video clips to share with us.

And thanks everyone who watched my daughters video. She really wanted her view count to go up, but is too shy to promote it in any way. She was hoping for 100 views and she got them!

I had a nice time at the dinner last night and now I'm off to work.

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Beans? In the morning?

Who am I to talk.... I don't do breakfast. No food until lunchtime. Never really have since I was a kid. I love breakfast food....for dinner. :D

With a breakfast like this, we end up skipping lunch. Usually have some fruit etc in the afternoon, and tea-time snacks in the early evening. ;)

Costco run in one hour.. have an awesome Saturday, y'all!

/me waves to the "Moth Killa".. :p

I'm out on the beans for breakfast too..

Gotta get this house in order for the family birthday party. So glad we've outgrown the friend parties. He chose PF Chang for dinner, love that place. No cake either, he wants apple crisp. Kallen has been saving $ all summer for a new bow (for hunting), DH picked it up this week, and we gave it to him already. He was very pleased. We chipped in for the remainder.

Robin, we really wanna hear ya..

April, I haven't watched yet, but I will!

We'll eat anything anytime. But we had pancakes and bacon for breakfast. I can't keep my son fed......it's a constant thing for me. Constantly thinking of what to cook, constantly hearing "I'm hungry", and constantly cleaning it all up. We're having burgers for lunch.

Congrats Robin!

Your daughter is adorable April!

I'm right there with you on not having kid parties any longer Bridget. Family parties are so much easier!

I gotta go get the grass cut before the game. ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!

I saw a different variety of it. What I loved about it was that it was fearless. There I was watering the plants, and it kept flitting from flower to flower not even a foot away from me.. Quite beautiful actually!
