I would be terrified! I already am and I don't have ghosts...but I do have an overactive imagination. And being a woman, and single...I've been scared for the past coupla years for some reason. Ever since my niece got attacked. Just an uneasiness.........I would go over the top with a ghost!

You? Say it ain't so.

So this wasn't a movie either? Man I don't get out enough.......

RJ if you ever have the chance to see Wicked on stage you would love it. I enjoy the theatre and have seen a variety of shows but this one has my heart and I could see it every year (pretty much have).. my daughter and I share the love. Our first time was in Chicago as her college graduation gift. We will see it in New York some day. Actually I'm doing better these days..actually letting my emotions flow a little and that's needed.

I've been having trouble sleeping for quite a while now...just jumpy and I hear things and I get in bed and turn the light out and start looking at the door wondering if someone is standing there. Just freaked out lately big time. I get up a lot checking the locks. Sleeping with my bathroom light on. I want a security system. I'm an easy target and if anyone was watching they'd know that. And then there was that guy who tried to come into my brother's home. I guess when it hits close to home it makes ya think ya know? And please nobody tell me to get a gun. I had a bad experience once and I will never own a gun. And my son sleep walks...I'd hate to accidentally shoot him on the nights he does it. Although he hasn't done it in a while. I freaked out one night when something woke me up and I looked up and saw the outline of a head in my doorway against the street light. It was my son sleep walking. I aged 10 years that night.

My son and I and my best friend and her kids saw The Lion King once. It was neat. I really enjoyed it.

RJ... have you ever thought about getting a dog? I love my little Corgi and if hubby is out of town I seriously feel safer having her with me as she lets me know if there is anything going on outside. You don't have to get a large dog (although I also loved my Chocolate Lab) but maybe something to think about.

My friend said the same thing. One time an intruder tried to come in on her kids while she was still at work...she now has FOUR HUGE dogs. I'm not a dog person...and I'm not ready for another pet.

And my niece, the one who was raped/throat cut/stabbed four times/choked until she almost died....is married and pregnant! She's due in February. :)

That is awesome your niece is doing so well.... I get not being a dog person, in general you either are or are not. Have you checked into a security system? I have not idea what the cost is, but if it brings you peace of mind and a good night's rest might be money well spent. I would also think you might save on homeowner's insurance with security?

Earlier this year seven cars were robbed one night, either side of our house but not ours. Tools, phones, CD's, whatever they could pickup. One of our neighbors asked if we had lost anything, and I didn't even know at the time what had happened. It was his wife who said.
"Are you joking ? They have two huge black German Shepards running loose inside that invisible fence over there !"
Trust me, RJ, Shepards are loving pets, unless you don't belong there. They are intelligent, easy to train, and very faithful to their owners. And they can destroy anything that invades it's territory. I love mine, they make great pets.

I had german shepherds when I was younger and you're right PawPaw they're the perfect dog IMO they almost train themselves . My wife's a cat person but she had to admit she slept more soundly with the dogs around . They are very loving with their family and fierce when they need to be but never out of control all it took was a snap of my fingers to get complete obedience .

RJ... I've been insecure in my home for the last few years too. My dogs do bring a little sense of security in that I know they'd let me know if someone came in the house uninvited, but they are dopey labs and I highly doubt they'd protect me. And like you, if anyone was watching they'd know I was an easy target too. I live Ina very safe neighborhood, with neighbors that watch out for each other... But you never know.

I'm so glad y'all are changing your clocks! We don't do that here in AZ so I'll only be 2 hours off from all my east coast family and friends.

Hope everyone's having a nice Sat night. I went to a big potluck/speaker meeting and am feeling very blessed and grateful.
