Thanks Robino1 and LeoRex.

I wasnt sure if it was something to do with the "Purity" line or what.

:toast:

The purity line just means that the liquid can be made 100% VG since even the flavoring is VG. This is for those people that have allergies to PG. We have a few people on this thread that are 100% VG vapers. You can still get any ratio of PG/VG you want in the Purity line but the capability of just VG is there. :)

The 'Purity' line means that there is no PG in the juice... a lot of flavorings use PG as a base carrier... the Purity juices use something else. I belive that the NETs use alcohol as a base carrier, so no PG (and why you should let the juices 'breathe' a bit to let any residual alcohol evaporate off)

Tommy,

I think HHVs NETs are in the Purity Line but not all of the item in the purity line are NETs i.e. Cherry Bomb is in the purity line but is not a NET for the simple reason it does not have any tobacco in it. Just natural cherry extract.

I think the "Purity Line" can be defined as Organic or all natural flavor extracts. By the way I hate the word "Organic" and will until some standard definition is adopted. You can buy Organic food products but what that means is anybody's guess. I don't think HHV uses the term Organic but rather has chosen to use the term Purity and to my understanding means that everything is natural not chemical flavors cooked up in a laboratory.

Thanks for the explanations, makes sense now.

I am still new so I ordered 50/50 mixes and am going to adjust from there.

I use 50/50, I find it is a little easier on my tongue plus I like the additional vapor plume the VG gives you (OK so I am easily entertained). Just remember that the higher the VG the more tendency to mute the flavor. That said HHV automatically adjusts the amount of flavor added depending on the PG/VG ratio you ask for BUT not all vendors do that and not all vendors do that for free.

Also with HHV you can request addition flavor strength to be added in addition to what they would normally add. This is done at checkout in the purchase comment section and again it is free. Free is good! ;)

Word of advice peeps... take a break from your ADV on occasion (if you don't already)

I decided to switch over to my well-aged Huntsman for a bit.. (From Legend)... vaped that for a few days. First.. Yum... it's like a maple syrupy tobacco woodsy goodness juice now... :)

But...

I just rewicked with some fresh cotton and put some Legend back in there. Tastes wonderful... and I am getting more of the sweet undertones that I wasn't getting a few days ago. :) Guess the ol' taste buds needed a little reset.

Thanks HolmanGT.

I got some from Mt Baker that I ordered in 50/50, some from Velvet Cloud and I think there is 100% VG but not completely sure. I also have a couple from various other places that are 80/20. This could just be how there made, but so far my favorites are from Velvet Cloud so I think I lean towards the 100%VG corwd, but I am still to early on in my venture to know for sure. They say as your taste buds come back to life your preferences might change. I do find the couple I have at 80/20 to be just a little to much throat hit for me. They dont taste as smooth and creamy as the others either. This could all vary based on company too, so thats why I just ordered the 50/50 and figure on the next order I will adjust it a little if I like what I got this time.

YES!!!! Just got my shipping notice from HHV, I doubt it makes it to PA before the weekend but I can always hope!!!!

Might have to go on a short vaping hiatus... need to get a new life insurance policy and since those yahoos don't differentiate between smoking the cancer sticks and vaping (you have nic in your system, you smoke!!! they say), I'll have to give my system a good week of being nic-free so they don't screw me on the rates thinking I am a smokestack.

Leo,

I have found that my vape taste enjoyment can change depending on which way the wind is blowing... that is not meant to be cute. The other day I just fooled with the coil on my ZAP for a few minutes didn't really change anything just looking for a more efficient way to wind it next time. Got tired of tinkering put it back together and took a puff - OK you already know - the vape was fantastic.

I am beginning to think vapeing is like having multiple personalities. It just depends on which tongue decides to take control at any given time. I know sounds creepy but I swear my taste perception can change at the drop of a hat.

But I am beginning to understand why the "Old Timers" have several mods and tanks set up with different e-juices so they can just browse like a kid in a candy store. I just thought they were trying to be showoffs with the amount of equipment they had.

Oh... they do that too. ;)

But yep... multiple devices. I have two, currently... a sub ohm dual coil Nimbus clone on a K100 that's usually has Legend in it... and a IGO-l on my Vamo that I switch around some of HHV's 'fruity' stuff... Cinful Apple, Angel's Kiss, Crackberry... etc. I have a 1300 spinner, but I don't really have anything to slap on it at the moment (waiting on some goodies in the mail to solve that though).

Leo,

Why not try 0mg Nic vaping. That might make the process a whole lot less painful. Get some good flavor, I don't know, maybe some key lime pie or something or maybe something citrus anything that would help you not notice the lack of Nic bite.

Hello Army, back from Kentucky in one piece :)
For the New Kids; I'm the grumpy old Trucker who loves his well-steeped HHV liquids. Most here are ProVari owners, I prefer REOS Mods. I happened to meet a newb (five weeks, no cigs) at my delivery in Westminster SC this morning. He's using a Joyetech 900mA/ CE4 clearo combination he purchased from a local vape store (brick and mortar, or B&M around here). I told him about ECF, and told him there are 'fanboys' and 'fangirls' who will say "You gotta try......" but what he's already doing is good if it keeps him off of the smokes. I would offer you the same advice. Trust your own judgement, and don't feel obligated to 'BUY- BUY - BUY' anything.
Congratulations on your decision to try Vaping instead of Smoking. :toast:
A few quick thought; NET is for Naturally Extracted Tobacco. This describes a process that extracts fluid from the tobacco leaf without burning. There are many different processes, I believe Adam and Heathers use Organic Alcohol in their extractions.
Steeping. Two days/ nights caps and drippers off. This is to allow any alcohol used in the extraction/ mixing process to evaporate. Then return the drippers/ caps. Shake every day/ every other day until the components within the juice have mixed to your liking.
Storage. NEVER EVER leave you e-liquids exposed to direct unfiltered sunlight for any length of time. Try to avoid radical temperature changes as well.
the Electronic Cigarette Forum. ECF is a monitored website for Vapers to meet and share their thoughts and ideas. Vulgarity, talk of drug usage, vicious personal attacks and other unapproved conduct can get you barred. There is a list of unapproved actions somewhere around here. Dusty D is our resident Moderator. He is good people, as are most others here at ECF.
Feel free to visit often, the HHV Army is a cozy little corner we've made for ourselves.
And, as always, Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

EDIT: This grumpy 'Old Timer' always has two or three mods with different flavors going. Not to show off, it's because your taste buds will 'adapt' to a certain flavor and then you loose that flavor. Switch up you flavors regularly so you'll enjoy them better.
