Hello Army! I've been away for quite a while. (I'm in the process of changing my name to nomotequila)
Any way I stopped by the natural tobacco thread for a bit and noticed a certain member with a 'PIF Forum Moderator' designation under his name. Has ECF allowed a fox in the hen house? I guess I'm not up on my anagrams. What does PIF stand for?

A) Hi Nomo, been a long time.
B) PIF means "Pay it Forward".
C) I know who you're talking about. He's a mod for that particular forum.
C) Let me give you some advice (I don't do this often). Stay away from the NT thread. :)

Well when they put out wind advisories here they ain't joking. Wind is strong enough we just lost power.
Not really that unusual here. Wind warnings come out when it gets around 40-50+ mph. Kinda glad I won't be riding. Been there done that before. Makes TNT really tired
Whoops power back on. Should be fun at work if the power goes out. :).
I ain't letting go of the sunshine in my heart. Bring it on Mother Nature.

PIF Forum Moderator is a designation for the "Pay It Forward Forum Moderator".

Fox in the hen house? I don't understand. I've been a member of the HHV Army forever and I have the designation of "ECF Moderator" under my name. Is that going to be a problem? :)

I think TNT is near or in Tulsa? I'm about 50 miles west, and he's not kidding. The wind is brutal today. And no doubt some intellect will try to burn something today. It's a stay home and watch your property kind of day.

My Dad lives in Altus, which is about as far from Tulsa as you can get and still be in Oklahoma. :)

I should probably give him a call.

David, you're livin' large.

I still have a low end, cheap flip phone that does nothing but make/receive calls. I hate cell phones. I hate all phones. I will die due to some young chickie who will T-bone me because she's texting while driving. I know that is how I am going to die. Book it!

not really this is only my second smartphone and I never did texting until I met a certain lady that apparently does a lot and I was due for a new phone anyway so what the heck I do use Google Maps though for a lot at work and I'll just add one thing this talk to text thing is just way cool:2cool:

Geez, we had a super nasty wind storm go through here yesterday. It didn't last long...only a few minutes but it was nasty. I haven't followed up but a friend of my wife was driving home (from our house) and called on her way home to tell us there was a "tornado path" through the woods near Falls Lake (about five miles down the road). Said there were trees busted up all over the place and you could see where the twister went. Emergency vehicles everywhere. Saw news footage on all the major networks of a mid-construction house blowing down. That was right near me. I have branches laying all over the place and I'm too lazy to pick them up. The Panthers are on soon. :)

Thanks Bronze! That's probably good advice. Unrealistic, but good advice none the less. It always burned me up  all the blatantly anti-Heather's Illusions he's fostered.

Forget about in Nomo. There are bigger things to worry about than someone criticizing a juice vendor. I'm sure Adam hasn't lost any sleep over it. :)

What are you vaping with these days?

also I don't text and drive heck I don't even use the phone and drive the DOT fine for that is absolutely through the roof for me and the company and it would mean instant termination

I'm about as anti-new law as it gets but there ought to be laws in every state outlawing texting while driving. I have yet to meet anyone that can do both at the same time. It's one thing if they want to kill themselves, but sadly they frequently take others with them or leave behind loved ones who need them. Just not worth it.

I know what you mean. I see it everyday and it's not just texting. I see a lot of people who can't talk on the phone and drive.

Illusions or Ahlusions ? The NT Tobacco thread was an old stomping ground, met several good people there. A few select obnoxious types who could be down right degrading towards anything they personally did not approve of led me away from that thread.

Cell Phone Use in a Moving Tractor-Trailer, per Federal Law; $2750 fine for Driver, $11750 for company. Unless you are using a Hands-Free device. I believe they need to make ALL drivers hands- free.

Yeah, you're right Bronze.
Lately I've put down the anvil and rediscovered the simple elegance of a Twist with a T3 full of Serendipity. :vapor:
Edit: Actually, my Vamo quit working. I wish Fasttech was faster! :)

Yes they should. I know you see it as much as I do. The car in front of you is going slower than speed limit. They see you start to move to pass realize they are going slow and speed up. Can't talk on the phone and drive. My companys policy is no phone use at all. Hands free or otherwise.

I think it's just how people are brought up. It's the whole what I have to do is way more important than anything you have to do. And because it's more important I can be a total :censored:

LOL - I started the original Ahlusion thread and it was shut down "because the owner requested it" apparently. So in having a potter around a couple months ago there's a new Ahlusion thread. I popped in and said "hello all!" and asked how the new thread got started all over again. The response was that it wasn't a chit chat thread and this is all about the juices. It followed directly on the heels of my audacity in going off topic to say "Hello all!" So I posted there one more time and said "OK. Got the message. Bye" and have never gone back. I sent a particular unnamed a lot of juices when he asked me, but while he swapped with everyone else, I got nada in return. HHV is where I live now. Haven't been outside my comfy home base since other than to say Hi to the Pancakes and Ocelot.:D
