So I looked up the pain pills doc gave me.

Do not stop taking tramadol without talking to your doctor. Your doctor will probably decrease your dose gradually. If you suddenly stop taking tramadol you may experience withdrawal symptoms such as nervousness; panic; sweating; difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep; runny nose, sneezing, or cough; numbness, pain, burning, or tingling in your hands or feet; hair standing on end; chills; nausea; uncontrollable shaking of a part of your body; ........; or rarely, hallucinations (seeing things or hearing voices that do not exist).

That's not a withdrawal symptom, that normal for me anyway, when they stop that's when I get worried.

Yea man, pain pills are crazy. Gotta be careful with them, there was a time when I wasn’t (had had surgery and sciatica) and paid for it in the long run. They aren’t joking about that list of side effects of stopping them abruptly. Taking them for 2-4 weeks is okay… but it’s when you start taking them everyday for 1-3 months that you start to notice getting dependant on them and stopping at that point will defiantly give you all the listed issues you described.

Short term pain relief they are a god sent… long term, they can be your worst enemy.

It's rather exciting to see companies jumping on the e-cig bandwagon. On one hand, it saddens me because the H&A's of the world will feel pressure (though I believe there will always be a place for them). On the other hand, it sure would be nice to have better gadgets. The gadgets we have today will be laughed at in the not-too distant future.

EDIT: And yes Robin, you are correct about BT. It's nice to see companies jumping on board, but we have to keep a very close eye on them. Very close! I'm more interested in what new companies can do for us with regard to the gadgets than I am the smoke juice. I want H&A to be around forever because I see less room for juice improvements than I do gadget improvements. They are interlinked though. Look for lots of Proprietary Wars coming up.

I bet no matter what gadgets they come up with we will all still be able to use H&A juice in them.

I got a bottle of dipity at home and some PB left. Dipity is in the AGA and tasting oh soooo good. But come Friday I am ordering about 100 bucks worth of juice to get me thru the holidays.

I hear that! Made my big holiday order last Sat., but also waiting on a previous one to get up to the holidays - "Lord of The Ring" trio to the rescue.

Scarf, about the sensitivity to drugs, I know what you mean. A pain pill for a normal person knocks me on my .... to the point that I can't do anything. Not even sleep. Just a drugged state where I just lay there aware but not able to do anything. I hate that. I even take half of what a doctor prescribes for pain or codeine even though I tell them about how it works on me.

I remembered Z saying something about getting a magnifying glass to look at Splitfire threads and put 3+4 together... Even got out my own to look at my splits.

I'll be a midnight first showing kind of guy this round. I hated the LOTR movies for a long while after reading the books over and over but grew to love em.
The hobbit I read when I was 7 and still remember a good chunk. Gonna reread this week or next and be ready to be overly critical.

2004 they took out my appendix, was back at work in 2 days, shoot the surgeon sent me home 12 hours after they had pulled it out.
2005 they took out my gallbladder, 8 hours after surgery nurse ask me if I had peed yet, I told her no because the air bag on my legs made it impossible to get out of bed. She goes well if I take them off will you get up and walk around...
I told her yeah I will do that.
So she pulls them off, I get up and pee, then go walkabout.
She had the never to tell me a hour later that I needed to stop chasing the techs around and to go back to my room and take a nap.

I hope you're right Z. But this is what I was talking about with "Proprietary Wars". I'm sure BT can figure out a way that requires you to use their smoke juice in their contraption. The stuff they put in the juice will dictate it. They do it now with cigs and the 4,000 chemicals that are in them. Those chemicals don't always just go along for the ride. Those are flavor and feel shapers too. This is why Robin is spot on with her BT views.

I haven't had to rake leaves in forever! I remember being a kid and making piles and jumping into them. Back then we could still burn leaves in town. I miss that smell. I loved it. I'm sure people with asthma disagree . There are certain scents that signal the different seasons, burning leaves signified fall, fresh cut grass was summer. Wet earth, spring and cold crisp air, winter.

Can't wait to see this movie!!! It’s my favorite book of all time. It's so easy to read it practically reads itself. I've got my buddies copy from high school. It’s about 20 years old. I've got all the LOTR books as well.

HHV should come out with a flavor called "Halfling's Leaf"; also called "Pipe Weed" in the books. Here's a little blurb about it and the different types:

Pipe-weed (also known as Halflings' Leaf) is a Tobacco strain grown and enjoyed much by the hobbits of the Shire, which was first introduced there by Tobold Hornblower. Pipe-weed production is a major industry there, especially in the south. It was known among the Dúnedain as sweet galenas for its fragrance. In Gondor it grows as a wild plant, appreciated primarily for its sweet-scented buds.

In Gondor it is known popularly as Westmansweed, a reference to its origin: it was apparently brought to Middle-earth by Númenóreans during the Second Age. It was first grown among hobbits by Tobold Hornblower in Longbottom (a region in the Shire) aroundS.R. 1070 (TA 2670). Despite its foreign origins, the hobbits (possibly those in Bree) were the first to use it for smoking.
