Of course the requisite trip to Disney's Magic Kingdom next Wednesday for the kids sake.... ahh vacation, much needed!

You will be only about 30 miles from HHV when you hit Downtown Atlanta. You could take I-85 south instead of I-75. Watch out for Hudson Bridge Rd., south of Atlanta. Traffic has mysterious things happen at the exit. Everything seems to get real slow through there.

I work in clinical research, a study monitor, aka Clinical Research Associate. Basically I make sure hospitals, clinics, etc are protecting the safety and well being of patients they enroll on research studies by following proper protocol procedures and FDA regulations, internationally accepted research practices, and that the data they report to the FDA is accurate and supported by documentation in the medical chart or EMR . A long winded, but more accurate way of saying I pre-audit research sites to prepare them in the case of an FDA audit.
And yes, I travel, a LOT. 3 to 4 days each and every week, mostly flying. I am currently going to Boise, Fargo, St. Louis, Houston, Iowa City (just a short drive for me!), Cincinnati, and occasionally elsewhere as the need of my company dictates. A few weeks ago I was on both coasts, Portland, Vancouver (not Dusty's, the one in Washington State), Las Vegas, Spokane, and then South Carolina. And despite the obscene amount of frequent flier points I have on both Delta and United, my wife insists we drive to Orlando so she can use my points for flying us all to Elisa Viejo to visit her sister whom is having a baby this August. She thinks the drive will be fun. I know better. Sure the first 10 hours will be, but the next 15 will most assuredly NOT be. And then the return trip the following weekend, yeah, even less "fun."
