Our good General might not be too pleased to hear it, but much as I love the States, I would give anything in the world to live the rest of my days in England. I've already PM'd Hula with a ridiculous, gushing ode to her homeland because I love it so inordinately. Ah, late night margarita ramblings, but still true. For anyone who says, "but the weather", I'd take year-round showers to stand in the English rain. And, of course, I've adored The Beatles from birth (real original, that!). Most of my other tattoos are completely hidden. Just got them for me, but I'll put up a couple more, considering we have a lonely thread devoted to 'em, and all.

You know, it is the mothers who raise the kids and do all of the really hard parts of that privilege/calling/blessing. The dad's provide and spend time when they can. Some better than others. You never see people on TV who say, "Hey Dad." It is usually "Hey Mom." Accolades to all Moms out there. You do more than you realize. Thanks.

I'm on it! About the beer part. And oh yeah birthdays ALWAYS stress me out! Just a lot to do. My Mom has already made me feel bad about not making my son's cake as I usually do. He's getting a pre-made cake from the bakery at my grocery store...and it will probably have flowers on it! LMAO! I'm not super woman and I'm old and tired and I make his birthday special in other ways. Here's one of his cakes I made for him a couple of years ago (and yeah I'm bragging a little...):

I've made others but I'm too tired to type right now and my computer is too slow. I will be drinking even MORE beer after the party. I'll be glad when it's over...and I know my son will be happy so that's all that matters.

Mixed feelings today since my stupid cough kept me awake all night. I'm excited for my vape mail from HHV today, but sorta peeved that I am still sick and can't taste anything. I suppose in the end it's for the better so I can leave my bottles alone for a few days at least. Positive thinking and all, you know.
