Good morning Army!! This homeowner stuff has been taking up all my time and I haven't been able to pop into this thread as much as I'd like to. Hope everyone has a great day!

Yep....yep yep yep. It takes up all my time too. My Dad came over today and fixed my lawnmower blade, finished cutting every single blade of grass, weedeated my steep bank, EVERYTHING. He's my hero. He's been feeling for me lately I think...he just seems to be here right when I need him...and he does it quietly and humbly. I love him! My yard looks fantastic!

I LOVE the smoke machine prank, Lion. That's just classic:D. When I'm not quite so tuckered out, I'll have to tell you about a couple that I'm proud of, though yours is more delicious:laugh:!

I like it. It may have changed....but

You say that I've changed,
Well maybe I did.
But even if I've changed,
What's wrong with it?

I will be disappointed if Becky takes more than five minutes to respond....

Oh, good heavens, I cannot believe that I've disappointed our Lion:(. I get so caught up in my song-chain games (er, I mean, caught up doing very laudable, productive RW things:unsure:). I'm broken up about the lag time, but it IS always better late..., right?

That's one of those bands that just takes me on an instant nostalgia trip back to high school. They were huge during my time going to the same school where I was later to (briefly...stupid colon:glare:) teach.

We were pretty much in school most of the time. LOL.
I could never be a teacher.....it's darned exhausting!! Thank goodness we only did half a day today

THAT, it is! But I miss my full time teaching gig more than words can say. It's just an incredibly rewarding job, but I've been so lucky with my students that, beyond TONS of papers to correct, and some of the new, constant testing being just dumb, I don't have the horror stories that a lot of colleagues do. Robin, could you explain a little more what your visit had to do with a 2nd grade classroom? I'm quite curious, and maybe I somehow missed you telling us about it.

Now a four way meet, that would be something! If we pull that off it will be one for the record books. I will bring the brews and a bit of the Crown Black for those of a stout heart!

Now that DOES sound like a blast! If you all DO set that meet up for next year, could you put the word out on this thread nice and early? As I've said, that area is the next big trip I plan to take. I was thinking about sooner than a year from now, but I'd love to crash that party, especially if it'll also entail some quality boilermakers:D!

Good evening...I don't have enough imagination to come up with good pranks. I am absolutely exhausted tonight....I will be hitting the hay very early. Think my fun weekend has caught up with me:laugh: My experience with PB was it's ok...never made my top five list. I've said it 100 times though...never got a HHV juice I couldn't vape...just love some more than others.

See...more things we have in common. I'm too exhausted to have an imagination right now. Getting back into the full swing of things at work is exhausting. I'll be heading to bed soon. No treadmill for me today...just don't have it in me.

Sorry I posted all my spiel before I'd seen your posts pop up, RJ. :toast: to your dear Dad! I'm so thrilled that you live near your folks and that they can lend a hand once in a while. Snap a pic of your lovely yard sometime:). As I mentioned, you are SO right about the Serendipity; it's all I've vaped today. Yum.

Becky, from the first year that Hubby's daughter got her teaching job in Virginia, we have gone there to visit her class. This is the fifth year we have done this. Every other year we have only spent a half day because we were within driving distance. Now that we are farther away, we fly down and decided to do a day and a half.

She does put us to work. She makes stations and assigns us a task that usually reviews what they have learned. I usually also read part of a chapter book or a crazy poem. It is fun to interact with her class. Sometimes her previous students will stop in to say hi to us. :D
We even go to the cafeteria and have lunch with them.

This has become a tradition and I really love that she invites us. The kids love having us, once they get over their shyness. She does a great job and those kids absolutely listen to her and she never loses control of the classroom. If it starts getting just the tiniest bit chaotic, she quickly brings them back with just a flip of the light switch. It's amazing how they ALL stop.......when the classroom light goes dark. They know they need to chill. She has them all in the palm of her hand. She never has to raise her voice and she just does an amazing job. I'm so proud of her.

Put the Lion in her class and that will all change. :D

Trust me, Mr. Robin does his own disruption routine. Two years ago his daughter said, after lunch and he'd really pushed the chaos, "It's time for Mr. And Mrs. Lawthers to leave now".  She kicked us out! :D

Could have been worse. She could of sent you to the principal's office.

You're coming up on 5,000 posts Robin. I wonder if you'll still be a PV Master Bater? We'll have to ask April. :)

OK, all caught up! Everybody in here seems to be doing fair to partly cloudy. I don't have much to say right now, other than - Hi! :)
Spring is coming, the wildflowers in my yard are getting started...

There will be many more kinds. If you folks don't mind I'll post more before summer comes and cooks everything.

Schnarph, keep those pics coming. Love spring!

When I figure out how to post pics bigger than a thumbnail I'll be adding some. Loving my new camera.

It would be my pleasure. I'm using a camera that must have been nice 8 years ago. I have to find a good place to host the pics soon. I'll fill up my ECF media limit in no time, even when I shrink them down 70%. Picasa maybe?

made my order but now I don't know if I made the right choice. Besides the dragon fire, Legend and heavenly tobacco 3ml samples I got to try ... It was a toss up between a 30ml bottle of Heavenly Army, Serendipity or Sludge. I was reading that Heavenly Army was too light in flavor and not too sweet with a graham tone to it , Serendipity has a coco/coffee taste to it and Sludge has a raisin/plum and honey taste too it. So after doing the research I settled with Sludge for my order since it sounded like the sweetest of the three.

I'm actually looking forward to trying the Heavenly Tobacco sample the most, I also got a 30ml of White Lie since I've been looking for a good coconut flavor... Now that my tastes have matured, maybe I'll like HHV tobaccos this time around
