Every single one of us live in small towns with no major crime besides speeding. My niece lived in a prime uppity location but yet look what happened to her. People are just going crazy is what I think and this is all just random stuff. It can happen anywhere in today's world. But it seems so movie-like ya know? I mean I guess bad things happen to good people but dang. You won't meet a finer family than ours. Hard working good people...what America should be about. But this is just getting too close for comfort. And I was telling Mom what you just said...make it more difficult for burglars and they will more than likely move on from your house. I do live beside five cops and on a cul de sac on a true dead end road with blunt objects (no guns though) scattered about my house within easy reach....but still it's scary.

I'll be calling security/alarm companies tomorrow. Does anyone know an approximate cost of getting one for windows and doors? I mean my son is here alone all summer long and every day after school! I gotta make it safer. Who walks around half naked, with a knife, ringing door bells. What were they expecting....tea and cookies?!?!? Crazy people!

I gotta go cut grass.....and I sure don't wanna!!! Wah!

I have ADT at my house, it starts out around $35 a month here. The through in windows and door sensors since I was a new customer.

When calling for prices be prepared though. They will try and pressure you into a sale. I hate pushy salesmen

Alrighty then. Doing my, ahem, weekly maintenance on my Nova heads and as I'm screwing the head off the stem, this is what happened: View attachment 209792

I think I found the culprit that leaks from the bottom. By the staining around the white area, it looks like its been doing this for quite some time. Explains the gurgling and the little bit of liquid I would have in the thread area.

So.....garbage for this puppy?

You got a lot of mileage out of that puppy.

Is it just me or is that kind of hot ;).

Got some good advice also in the big thread marked "HHV steeping info" Probably should have started there but I was linked here in another thread. Does anybody have a time machine or know where Marty McFly lives?

If you don't mind telling, how much was the initial equipment and installation? Under $500?

Back yard and big side yard cut. Taking a water break. I can probably knock the little side out and some of the front before I gotta get ready to leave. WHEW! It's hot out there and I think my face is getting some sun.

So I used one of these banner programs and plugged in the (approximate) date I started smoking. According to it I smoked nearly 300,000 cigarettes over the nearly 40 years I smoked..... just wow.

I don't want to even think about how many I smoked or how much money I've spent. By rights, I should continue to add in what I'm spending on nic even though I no longer smoke. After a year has passed, it should be easy enough to figure out a couple of those stats.

The money spent is almost impossible to figure out unless a person can figure out when the prices of cigs went up and at what intervals.

Rocking the Vivi Novas at work and must say really liking them. I do have what is suppose to be a 2.4 on my provari getting readings of 2.9 so assume it's miss marked. Doesn't mean much to me as I just dial in till the vape tastes good. I also can't tell the difference between 325 or 400 mesh on my gennies...just set them up to taste as well. Playing with the Egos for out and about I do remember why I went to bigger batteries:laugh:

So uhmmmm, this other thread in the General sub-forum got me thinking; I haven't kept up with it in so long.

TWENTY THOUSAND. Wow.

edit: cigarettes avoided since I quit smoking that is.

Congratulations GT!!! And I know it was your family who got you on the e-cig. They have to be super proud of you. :)

Probably not. The Provari checks it under load. If you just test it with a multimeter it will show a lot closer to what it says it is (although it will rarely be exactly right).
