Glad to see 73 still has his sense of humor. :)

Is ECF slow to load pages today or is it this new laptop I'm on? My email seems pretty snappy. Is there an accelerator pedal on this wifi I don't know about? Best buy had a sale on mice so I picked up a Logitech M525 and what a relief compared to that touchpad! Much gooder!!!!

Thanks for all the computer help you geeks have been giving me. It is much appreciated. Laptops are new to me as is Windows 8 (for the most part).

EDIT from an earlier post: I said they wanted to rent me Office 2010 for $100/mo. Incorrect, should be $100/year. Either way it is a rip.

RJ, you SO deserve a great day like this. +1 that it's not your laptop, it's ECF, Bronze. Dusty?? Fix that, mister:p! Sorry to hear that Chloe picked up Sadie's bug, April...fingers crossed that your immune system byatch slaps that nasty little virus! Hope everyone has a great Friday:)!!

Thanks Dust. You're right. It might be best to just get the newest version of Office. But I'm cheap and don't want to spend the money. I also don't feel like learning the new quirks. At some point, I will begin worrying if my Excell and Word 2000 docs will be obsoleted and irretrievable.

I may be forced to just go to the newer Office version. I'm assuming I can migrate/convert the old version files to new version files??

You're not alone, I switched to Mac OS X 7 years ago and won't go back, however, I have Windoz 7 on my iMac and still have XP on my laptop. Office 2011 for the WinDoz OS and Office:Mac for the Macs, of course.

Got them on there only because school is mostly Win.

Mac OS X best of both worlds! :2cool: (Sorry Stanley)

ECF has been slow for me a couple of days now.

I'm SO glad I have an iMac. Say what you want about Apple and their pricing, etc., but the Mac's just work. And simply. Apple knows a little something about the user interface.

In my position, the extra money for an iMac is less important to me than my patience and sanity.

My MAN! :toast: ( I mean that in a totally, hip, cool sort of way.)

Well, I will take advantage of that. Dust and GT have been helping too. This is my first crack at a laptop. They can have this lousy touchpad. April told me to get a mouse too. Consider it done as soon as I get to BB tomorrow morning. Maybe I'll try downloading Chrome tonight. IE is just horrible! Slow as molasses. Thanks Chimps.

You know I'd help too, but I can't stay caught up enough to get there before others have chimed in. ;) I have a touch pad for the iMac and also use a mouse once in a while. (Hard to click and drag, on a pad, at the same time when your hands are damp from humidity.)

Well, I'll tell you, they can stuff that touchpad up their .... That thing is utterly worthless. I'm hooking up a mouse on this thing ASAP. I'd rather they not put a touchpad on the thing and just give us a mouse instead. If I had to use that pad they'd be throwing me in the booby hatch by noon.

I rarely use the touch pad in mine either, and it's a MacBook Pro. (Albeit, an old one.)(One from the first batch of Intel Macs to come to Thailand - circa 2006.)

Am I weird that I don't miss the higher nic? I keep waiting for my body to say: Hey! I need more nicotine!
All day yesterday on 9mg. Except first thing yesterday morning when I thought I would need the 12mg to get started. Three hits off the PV and it was harsh...already.....after vaping the 9mg for most of the day, the day before.

Good morning all.

How are you doing 73?

I'm finding it easier all the time with my 6mg stuff. Just takes a while to get used to - there still are times when I feel antsy for something more, though. Like this morning when I found out my left front tire picked up bolt from somewhere and didn't want to spit it out. I pulled out of the drive and heard, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, waba-waba-waba. needless to say I was late for work and lost the morning crowd for caramel corn sales.

If you can't see the stats, yesterday was a banner day for ECF. Last night was the most ever people on ECF at one time. No wonder it was so slow! Over 4,000.

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk. ECF Rocks!

No wonder the pages are troublesome loading.

Dadgum Chak! I like your stash! Better than vacation pics! ;) I wanna live vicariously through you. You have a wonderful attitude and are always so upbeat. You got lots of vape mail, beer, boys, caramel corn, wonderful gardens thanks to your wife, and it's already the weekend there!

I'm trying to improve my attitude...the people at work just suck lately and it's hard to not let it get to me. So today at lunch I bought new sandals for a VERY low price, I finally found portulacas to plant in my two drive way planters and bought those really cheap too (they were actually delivered while I stood there...my lucky day!), and I tanned in the tanning bed (yeah I know but it helps my attitude), got cold wine waiting for me at home, son is on summer vacation, I'm changing my hours to 7:30-4:30 all summer. Just an overall good day for me and boy did I need one!

Thanks RJ, ya know I heard a joke today that kind of sums up my attitude towards life... it's kind of long, but what else have I got to do at 3 AM in the doghouse?

This man I know has a son who was forever smiling and laughing all the time, even when terrible things were happening around and to him. His dad thought there was something wrong mentally, and took him to the Dr. This particular Shrink had an unusual quirk and told the father he'd have the boy cured by 5 o'clock that evening with his special treatment he developed himself. The father agreed and left the boy with him.

After the father left, the Dr. took the boy and put him in a room all by himself and locked the door. The boy looked around and all he could see in the room was a shiny shovel and a six foot tall pile of horse manure. His eyes lit up and a broad grin broke out on his face.

Five o'clock finally arrived, and the father came to pick up his son - the Dr. lead him to the room and opened the door only to find the boy laughing like crazy and shovelling manure like a madman! He called to the boy and scolded, "What on earth do you think you're doing!!!"

The boy turned and said, "Thanks dad! I always knew you'd get me one someday!"

"Get you what?" asked the father confused.

The boy grinned and said, "Well, with all this manure, I just know there's gotta be a horse in there somewhere!!!"

Nice looking arsenal there Chak. But get them blue caps outta there!

SIR, YES SIR!

I'll have to get a new Vape Station, though. These 50ml bottles won't all fit in one box - can only put 3 bottles per section and I have 26 of 'em on top of all the 30's I still have!
