Good morning, Army!

Welcome, Kolect:)! Just insert "bottle" in the following (of course, if you're steeping PB, just sing it unchanged) -

Thanks for the welcoming, nice sunshine band insert lol. "Shake your bottle" should be the new remix.

Gandalf was renamed due to the suits at WB protesting the use of the image from their licensed movie....jerks....

haha i see..Well good to know it's still around. A new name is better than a new recipe.

Boba's is OK. Nothing I go crazy about like many do. Sure doesn't resemble a tobacco though. :)

Yes, I've heard it's distant from a tobacco, it's odd that so many try to make a comparison between the two.

Good morning...we had thunderstorms through the night, they were loud but not dangerous and dumped over 2 inches of rain. It's cool and still raining here this morning so no planting flowers today. Actually we have a family gather this afternoon outside at a park shelter, might not be too much fun. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...have to work partial days today and tomorrow but Monday am just going to do nothing (except plant flowers if it's nice)

What kind of flowers? Which reminds me I need to plant my portulacas today once and for all!

The only thing I plan on doing today is planting, laundry, grocery store run, and grilling. Oh and drinking beer. :toast:

Gotta ask, what's the deal with Bobas? People talk about it like it's crack. They are praising it in the NET thread and I'm curious what you all think  From what I understand HHV brings a lot of quality to the table. How does Bobas compare? I've seen people say it's similar to Gandalf (which I haven't been able to locate on HHV recently).

Boba's is nothing like Gandalf. I love Boba's and I love most of the HHV tobaccos. There is no similarity.

Boba's is not a NET. It is a unique flavor that a lot of people love, sort of a honey graham cracker over a very, very light tobacco. Some people taste no tobacco in it. I get just the slightest hint of it.

Like any other juice, the only way to decide is to try some.

Hey Kolect, I saw the little brouhaha with a couple of posters in the NETty Awards thread. Pay no attention, there are rude people on the forum just like in real life, and there some folks that just like being asshats. You won't find much of that in our little corner here.

RJ I never know until I got to purchase them:laugh: We are so busy in the summer I only do potted plants on my deck and at the shop. Usually petunias, begonias and whatever else catches my eye. We have one huge planter at the shop so I normally buy a hanging basket with variety and transfer to it. I just like bright colors and plants that are pretty hearty.

One year I did petunias and they were GORGEOUS but dead heading them took up all my time so I swore them off. That same year I did begonias and they were also gorgeous but they attracted a swarm of about 100 bumble bees and the only phobia I have is bees. That same year one morning I woke up to about 50 baby bumble bees that committed suicide in our pool. I have lilies, hastas, cannas, irises, daylilies, sedums, and pansies and portulacas. My favorite flower which I currently don't have is hibiscus. I like perennials best since they keep coming back year after year. I have hope that these portulacas do well in my hot dry driveway planters.
