Good Morning Army. The Monsoon season in the Piedmont of the Carolinas has ended, and for the first time in a month I get to spend the whole weekend doing yardwork. When done at a liesurly pace I enjoy that sort of thing. My son should be here soon. He's between jobs again (Gotta love this economy) and I'll give him $100 for a days work. He's gonna strip, clean and stain the deck today, plus assemble and stain new picnic table for the deck. And maybe trim some trees.
Plus he gets a full day of Mamaw's cooking (which he grew up on) and maybe some fresh stuff from the garden to take home.
And everyone says I work him too hard.
Hase a Safe and Blessed Sunday Evveryone :)

Yesterday marked 3 months for me without an analog. I've quit for a year before, but never with such ease. I've got a long way to go, but it's a good start. Loaded sludge yesterday, I like it. It's nice to have several good juices to rotate. :2cool:

Well done. I am purchasing a Prothingy (thank you, Ocelot) for my one year anniversary. You should plan to reward yourself at milestones, too. I got a Vamo at 6 months, and an eVic at 9 months. Congrats, happy vaping!

Congrats on 46K, Mr. Scarycamera, and thanks for picking up the slack for me with a couple BST tunes, Chak!

Combine lolcats with baby talk and I start to suffer from physical maladies.

I don't know if Dusty can answer this or if it's general knowledge that I'm not are of...

How is it that I can order something from China and get free shipping, yet shipping from Canada is over $20?

Is this some kind of trade agreement screw up or is the Canadian website I'm looking at using ridiculous shipping methods?

Edit: sorry, that was a completely off topic, unimportant question. I'm not even going to order anything from Canada, I just found myself looking at a Canadian website and was shocked by their shipping rates.

It's the same the other way around. I've paid as much as $15 -$35 to have stuff shipped from the U.S. I think we have both our "first world" countries postal systems to thank for that. Chak would also be able to tell you that he's paid $50 or more to have shipped from the U.S. It's not just Canada. Grrrr...

What amazes me is that a vendor like Epipemods offers free shipping worldwide for whatever you buy from them, not just pipes. How do they do that, and why can't other vendors offer the same?!

Pop, we had "Movie Night" at the neighbor's house last night. We use a projector against their garage door and have tables and chairs set up outside and everyone brings snacks and food. It's a yearly tradition we do over a couple months most weekends in the Spring while the weather is nice. Usually starts in April and ends in May before it gets too hot and buggy. Last night was the fist decent weather night we could do it. What a lousy Spring we had.

And it never occurred to you to order caramel corn... I'm heartbroken. :(

Yay, I got the morning off from work, at least a few hours. I did some hooping, trying some new things. Here they are if you'd like to see them. I've noticed a big difference in how long I can hoop for since quitting smoking. My body gets tired BEFORE my lungs do.
