In the beginning the same thing happened to me, along with a sore throat, so I put it down for a few weeks, tried again and still got a headache and cloudy pressure feeling, but all that went away after a couple weeks of occasional use per day.

Now I don't get any side effects except for the great sensation and taste of a good E-cig hit if I want it.
I'm guessing my body had to get used to the PG and or nicotine in that form of vape, kinda like smoking a regular cig after quitting - the body is just not used to it.

To the OP: You claimed you did a 'ton of research'. I have yet to see you demonstrate that.

Typical Kreelian post - Smacking down newcomers while offering no actual assistance or information pertaining to the questions asked -

The 510 is a great choice - It is sold by many people under many names - Dura-C/Yeti/Titan/Joye-510 - I am partial to JantyUSA - I have recommended this company and model to many and they have been very happy with the product and the service - Janty's is called the Dura-C - JantyUSA.com - I was going to post you a link to there - But I see nothing on their Dura-C section today - Very Odd - Out of stock? or No longer carry it - or Just a site error? Not sure? - You can look at it here at their UK site JANTY DURA SETS - JantyShop and write them in the US to ask about why it seems missing from there -

Thanks so much for all the great responses. I'm a little bit overwhelmed with the lingo and abbreviations, but am trying to catch on as quickly as possible! Here's my plan...

I ordered some 0 nicotine cartridges from Green Smoke, so that I can narrow down what it is I am reacting to. If it's the synthetic nicotine, I'll just vape the 0 nic ones and be happy. The cartridges I have now are 4mg, which are the lowest they make.

If it's the PG I'm reacting to, well, I'm still not sure what I'll do. Are there any brands that come with PG-free cartridges already made (I don't want to fill them myself, I don't really understand how to go about doing it yet)?

It does feel a lot like being seasick. A bit light headed, woozy, shaky...very strange. Is this something that might go away if I stick with it, or is that just plain dumb?

If you have been getting this reaction with 4mg carts - It is probably a safe bet that you are not experiencing too much nic and the problem lies somewhere else - most likely withdrawal from the other nasty chemicals in tobacco as others have mentioned - I would recommend spending some time in the threads under DIY(do it yourself) Heed all warnings you will see there - and look at the cart refill sections - It will get very expensive to keep buying prefilled carts - The Green Smoke uses the cartomizers from what I see - This is one of the least prefered types - Very difficult to refill yourself - I recommend another type of e-cig - I had a similar type when I first started and quickly became very dissatisfied with it in many ways - Good Luck :)

Many of us only recommend manual switch PV's such as the 510.

Truth. A manual switch 510 acts and feels like an analog as far has the inhale feeling and amount delivered. I have a 901 which is *meh*, great as a back up but nothing compared to a 510.

    P.S. - a 510 with a USB passthrough = perfect.
