I'm on day seven and I have not had ANY withdrawals. I bought a 510 kit and some extra tobacco flavored 18mg juice.

Last night my wife decided since I was having success she was going to dump the analogs also. So I gave her one of my 510's and showed her how to care for it.

She finished off her analogs last night and today she is fully vaping instead. She is really having a hard time with withdrawal symptoms.

Should I order some higher power juice? Is there something else in the analogs her body is having problems living without?

It is not always a good idea to dump all of the real cigs at once. Why doesn't she try cutting back instead of going cold turkey?

It does take some will power to quit, but maybe a little higher strength juice is in order. I couldn't completely quit until I went to 24mg juice. since then I've backed down to 18, and my next order is going to be at 12mg. Also find your go to juice helps too, but can be a frustrating process. What strength are you both vaping now?

Yes, try the 24mg. I couldn't have quit smoking without the 24mg. And some people even need 36mg to get the job done.

Yup...I was on 36mg for the first month & then went to 24mg...keep that PV close & ready at all times, especially after meals & in the morning.

I quit by not quitting...
I allowed myself a cigarette whenever I wanted one, but I had to go sit in the bathroom to smoke it. No reading, no playing with my phone, just smoking. It helped to break the habit, while allowing me to get my fix whenever I truly felt I needed it.
Eventually, I asked my husband to hide my smokes, but to give me one whenever I asked. After a few days of that, I gave the smokes away.
I'm doing pretty well. I want one, but it's the way I kinda want a cupcake. I don't feel I need one.

Just make sure she's using the PV and not trying to be economical about juice usage. My biggest problem was solved when I learned that I was using far less juice than most people (seems 3ml/day is pretty average, I was making a 3ml bottle last a week)

I agree with the higher nic. I started at 24 mg, which I decided on after doing some reading up on here and it's worked great for me so far. I supplemented analogs my first day and a half til they were gone and haven't missed them.

With my first cup of coffee, if I'm having that urge, I'll just let myself chain vape it away. It's not exactly the most elegant solution, but it works for me. Also, I've tried the tobacco flavors that my husband is using plus the cream and caramel flavors we have. They're nice, but none of them feel like I'm smoking something the way that the menthol I have does. I suppose it's the cooling sensation or something, but it really feels more like smoking to me than any other flavor.

I am curious as to what you mean by "withdrawal symptoms." Are you speaking of just craving a cigarette, psychological symptoms, physical symptoms or a combination thereof? May help with finding some type of viable solutions.

As some of the others have said, in my mind it is not necessarily imperative that one stop sold-turkey. When I started vaping it was just for a change with no intention of quitting; over time I was just smoking less and less and enjoying vaping more and more. One thing that did work for me when I was wanting and analog and vaping wasn't quite cutting it, was to use a very thin liquid (high PG) with a larger dose of nic and a very, very easy draw (i.e. one that allowed a faster passage of air like dripping or vaping with the mouthpiece tip removed). Other times I would simply light a cigarette, take a few puffs, then gently snuff it out blow through it to get out the stale smoke for the next time I lit it. Soon found that one cigarette would last a day or two that way. I figured going from 3 packs a day to one ir two a day was a cause for celebration.

Don't let her be too hard on herself. Not easy to do, is different for everyone and not worth stressing about - it will come in time. Best of luck to you both.

I tried to start out at 16mg myself. I did it for a week. It was absolute hell. I smoked between 3-5 packs a day. I actually felt all chemically, and thought it was the vaping. I wasn't satisfied at all, then my wife saw that it was working for me, and decided to quit, she tried the 16, and it didn't do it for her, so I ordered 24mg for her. Since then I've been chain vaping that. I don't have that sick chemical feel that I had, and my craving has gone down. Not all the time though. Tomorrow I have 10 30ml bottles coming in from mist-stix. 5 of them at 36mg. The rest at 24. I think the 36 will finally do it for me. Today for some reason has been really hard, and I've wanted to smoke really bad all day. I haven't done it, but I sure am looking forward to that 36mg.
I also found that for some reason menthol actually is the most satisfying thing to VAPE. I feel like I just had a smoke after I VAPE it. I NEVER smoked menthol in my life. My wife thought she would like it, so I ordered a sampler pack for her, and they have one called NPRT (Newport) and that actually does the trick for me. I usually do 3 drops of that to 5 drops of my tobacco blend into a cart, and find it to be the most satisfying. The NPRT alone, or the tobacco alone doesn't do it. I mixed some of that up for my wife tonight, and it stopes her from going out to buy a pack.
Good luck y'all!
Sorry I ramble on like I do, it helps me.

Phycho/physical. Stressed, moody, short fuse. Complains of tightness in chest. A few vapes and she is "normal" again for a short while.

I ordered some stronger nic juice for her just now. Obviously 18mg is working for me, but she is needing more.
