Also I've been advised to stick to tobacco flavours to begin with, I ordered 4 tobacco ones from Onepoundeliquid but then couldn't resist the Apple and the Pineapple. What I like about that site is when you click on a flavour it shows all the reviews of people who've tried it.
I should have said in my post asking for best e liquids that it's the tobacco flavours I would like to know about. Out of all the ones you've tried which tobacco one did you like best?

I quite happily vape the Virginia, the British and the Black tobacco. I stopped using the American Lites (just too mild and nutty/sickly). The RY4 is a travesty... LOL :)
I am a big fan, despite not liking many of the others. The Apple is just passable.
As you might have worked out by now, reviews are reviews and in the e-cig world people are quick to give a product a good review and can't be bothered to do a bad one. They are genuine though, which is more than can be said for some (cough, cough, scam) sites.
There is a "brand" in the UK that made up all their reviews. I called them liars and cheats on the internet, and they threatened me with more than just legal action.
There are another 4 brands I know of that routinely only keep the 4 or 5 star reviews and delete all the others. If you see lots of reviews and the website looks dodgy, best to ask on here.
So - reviews are not reliable, unless you know the people behind the company are genuine. LiQuid are trying their best, so I tend not to comment.

Thank you to everyone for your help and advice - I have just put the order in to Amazon for the nautilus mini, coils and the istick. I just wish I'd come here in the first place instead of spending so much on unsatisfactory e cigs! Ok the order came to £60 but I've just totalled up the amount I've spent on crap and was shocked to discover it's over £100! I forgot I'd bought a Ten motives rechargeable when I couldn't get Nicolite cartomisers one weekend and I've also ordered an Eversmoke starter kit which hasn't come yet but I just know it won't be any better than the V2. Believing the V2 was supposed to be the best I also ordered an extra one plus cartomisers which came this morning. What an idiot I am!
Anyone else wasted money buying crap before finding the right e cig? Come on make me feel better!

That's usually the norm; on the other hand, it's kind of like the price of quitting cigs.
Coming here ends up saving a bundle.

Ok thanks you can scrap my last post then! It makes sense that after buying the best vape kit to buy the best juice so I'll go have another look.

these days I buy a 15ml bottle of 24mg halo juice and mix it with water and glycerine to make a 100ml bottle of liquid which will last me a week or 2.

Hi Chrissie, glad to hear you've tried the Onepoundeliquids n found them vapable. I'm now looking for a good UK e juice so I've something to compare them with. Have you found any good tobacco flavour ones?
I feel totally wiped out tonight as I've had very little sleep for three nights which I now know is due to vaping nicotine so I'm puffing on my V2 with the nicotine free cartomiser. Can't get much from it though, no throat hit, very little vapour n no satisfaction but I really need to sleep tonight as my granddaughter is staying for the weekend so I'm trying to stay off the Vype pen. Did you experience insomnia when you started vaping?

Interesting - what ratio of water and glycerine? Sounds an excellent way of saving money. I did watch a couple of YouTube videos on making e juice but it looks too complicated to me but what you're doing sounds easy.

Hello Kaydi!

I'm new to vaping as well, I started out similar to how you did only over a much longer period. Went from cigs, to cigars, to pipes only trying a few cigalikes across the years.

Recently moved to a very vape friendly area in Florida with tons of shops so I stopped into a store and was taken for a ride with a ego-t and junk tank, then two days later a ego-c twist and a little better tank. At that point I went to a reputable dealer & told them what I was looking for and for directed to a Eleaf 30w and a Aspire tank and just a week ago got myself a Aspire Nautilus Mini.

Now if only I had known that such a thing was out there at first (part being my fault for trying to cut corners and my ignorance in vaping).

When i started with vaping I had 24mg nicotine level but with the better gear I quickly realized that I was overdoing it with nicotine and getting headaches. I am now vaping 12mg and since I love watermelon a few different flavors of that but what I really found that I love is called 'Unicorn Milk' by Cutwood. I didn't like that others around me could see the vapor but rarely smell it & when they did smell it they said it was kinda 'musty' but with the Unicorn Milk it's got a sweet smell & has hints of vanilla to people around me.

I've been reading ALOT being that I'm in the ... end of a move across country without my computer or TV and these boards along with a few videos on YouTube have been invaluable. It's overwhelming the acronyms & information if you have any questions though these forums are full of reviews, comments and any information about vaping along with a slew of expertise. I for one am happy to have come across your thread because I have always been the type to search out information on my own instead of asking (exact same questions you have).

Ok... Still doesn't change my basic premise from their price. If they would be willing to give you a complete list of what's in their juices, where they source VG and PG and the purities of them, I would feel better. Until then it's firmly in my too good to be true list. I also look at any reviews from websites with extreme skepticism, as we all know a lot of companies delete all bad reviews from their sites. I would trust reviews from here far far more than I would from anybody out there selling stuff. I'll end this with my favorite saying... Caveat Emptor...

Can you get the Onepoundeliquid YouTube videos? If you can the strawberry milkshake one gives you quite a lot of details about vg and pg etc. I haven't got a clue about stuff like that (yet!) - he goes on about USP grade vg n pg, ISO class, pharmaceutical grade and grade A level but it may as well be in Chinese for all I can understand! But you'll know what it all means.
Anyway I've just ordered a bottle of e juice from UK eliquid to compare the cheap stuff with. Someone said their Vemillion River range is to die for so I ordered the KY4 at £5 for a 10ml bottle plus £2 postage. I hope I don't like it as I certainly don't like the price but I needed a really good one to get a true comparison. I find it hard to believe people pay £13 for a 10ml bottle but that was the price on one site that was recommended. I'll probably try one in the £2.50 price range next as that too should give me a good comparison.

Ok, I looked at this one

Reviewer is very lukewarm on it almost no thumbs up thumbs down so it has a very low hit ratio on the YouTube video itself. They talk about Their ISO Level eight clean room, so that's good. they talk about their USP nicotine, so that should be good. I didn't see anything about the grading on the VG & PG however. If you email them, would they send you the testing data sheets on the ingredients? At that price, the twitching eyebrows denoting skepticism still won't quite go away. Again this is definitely going to be up to you on your purchase. If they would send you all the batch testing data sheets in PDF format I believe you can send them to me on this site. You can put anything you want on a YouTube video, but then again I'm well known to be an extremely skeptical fuddy-duddy...
;)

about 10% water.
I don't even measure it, I just eyeball it.
I start with an empty 100 ml bottle, add some water 1/10 the way up, dump in a 15ml bottle of eliquid, then fill up the rest with glycerine, then shake.

£13 for 30ml is not so crazy IF you know you like it. That's why I always used Grizwald samples before buying. Chrissie likes the Black Cat, and I do too, it's one of those that I can order confidently. Don't forget you can get 10% off with the AAEC discount, making it £11.70.
Divide £11.70 by 3 (for 10ml) and you get £3.90.
(It's not a maths lesson, Dave.. )
£3.90 is quite a lot better value than £5.50 for Mrs B's liquid and that brings me to my next point.
uk-eliquid is part of the e-cigwizard group and boy, do they know how to charge too much for everything from hardware to liquid. I got a load of freebies off them (in 6mg) at Vapefest and every last one has been given away. Last month, for some crazy reason I bought 3 x 10ml off an ecigwizard stall (shopping mall) and they all went in the bin. Those are called wizmix.
The only good news about their website is the availability of Redwood Blend and Vermillion River. A lot of us stopped buying Redwood blend (from Redwood, not ecigwizard) when they put it up to £6 or something, which was totally bonkers.
Funny what they say about it..
The Redwood Blend range was born on ecig forums in 2012, and gained great popularity. Now you can try this subtle range of flavours designed as 'all day vapes'.
Yeh, well the forums soon got totally fed up with price gouging too by 2013, so thanks to their blatant greed (and far too many new vapers) most of us stopped buying.

So - basically, I don't like ecigwizard much more than Liberty Flights. As I keep banging on; these companies just push the prices as far as they can go and make up all sorts of marketing mumbo jumbo.

You'll be OK with Vermillion. The KY4 is a strange tobacco vape, sweet with biscuit overtones. The Cinnamon is truly one of the best ever. Quite why anybody paying £4.99 for Vermillion would want to pay £5.50 for Mrs B's is kind of confusing.

But surely it can't be as good?

It's like vaping unflavoured with some flavour I guess.

Most flavors I have tried, I don't really care for anyway, and a lot of flavors seem to be strong imo which turns out to be good for me because I can dilute and save $

Sorry I got it wrong as I thought the £13 was for 10ml. I just had another look at the samplers and maybe I'll try one of those next. To be honest whenever someone recommends a site I go there but there is so much choice I feel overwhelmed. I chose the Vemillion after reading somewhere it's to die for but now you've said the Cinnamon is one of the best ever so I wouldn't mind trying that but not if its the same price as the KY4!
I realise everyone's taste buds are different, I may hate one that others love but at the moment I feel I need guidance in getting me started. Did you find any of the tobacco samplers stood out?

Overwhelmed is totally normal. It either makes your head spin, or you feel like a kid in a sweet shop. :)
I must admit to always taking advantage of multi-buy offers. I think you can choose 3 bottles of Vermillion River and get a discount. I guess that means cancelling your order if you want to do that; you are entitled to do this, by the way, by law.

Do you mean "did I find any Grizwald that stood out?".. yes, for sure, but you might not like them. If you like sweet tobaccos there are lots to choose. Black Cat is creamy tobacco licourice, so that might not suit. GY4 is really sweet (so, not for my tastes).

Oh, before I forget; Vermillion do hot cinnamon and cinnamon rolls... it was the cinnamon rolls I liked. Again, you might not like them. The Redwood blend (original) is mild tobacco and vanilla.

I think the mvp line is a great place to start. I went through cigalikes, pen styles, and multiple tanks before I could quit. The mvp2 with an aspire nautilus finally did it for me. Good amount of vapor, flavor and throat hit. The aspire nautilus will really help on any battery you own.

The mvp3 pro kit is great too, multiple safety features for a beginner but doesn't burn coils, doesn't make a mess, simple and easy to fill, long battery life and would let you move into higher watts without upgrading your battery again. It will also give you much more vapor, flavor, warmth, throat hit, but you'll use more juice.

Just keep in mind that the isub kit comes with a 0.5ohm coil, and could can be replaced for $10 for a 5 pack, but they cannot be used on any pen style devices you own.

Kaydi where about in the UK are you? We have quite a few vape meets organised on AAE-c UK & if you could get to one, folks will be more than happy for you to try their various vaping gear & e-liquids :)

I'm in Orton Goldhay, Peterborough. That sounds good but getting to one will be difficult as a) we don't have transport and b) I'm my partners carer as he's recently had a life saving op and at the moment needs round the clock care so I'd be reluctant to leave him on his own. But maybe in the future eh?
