so I’ve been using a juul the past 3 years but it got so expensive so I thought I’d give a vape a try. I bought an Orion a to use at the house and a innokin endura t18ii to use while I’m at work. The juul uses nicotine salts in the pods so I bought that for my Orion and I had regular juice at 15% nic for my endura. I filled my endura up and let it sit to soak the wick but I seem to be getting absolutely no flavor from it, and also no throat hit. Could it be the juice or the coil? I’m pretty lost.
With no flavour and no throat hit, are you getting any vapour? If not, the setup might not be working for some reason. What wattage are you using? If I recall correctly, the T18 has high/medium/low rather than number settings, so have you tried it at different settings?
If the device is working properly, you might want more nic. Feel free to try the juice for your Orion in it. As others have mentioned, it's perfectly fine to use either regular or salt nic in whatever device you like. For what it's worth, the picture looks to me like it says 15 mg, which usually means 15 mg/ml (which is equal to 1.5%). I'd guess the shop lady assumed you misspoke and wanted 15 mg/ml. Whatever you do, don't try to vape 15% juice. That would knock you flat. I wouldn't go above 25 mg/ml or so with regular nic, as that usually provides too much throat hit. You could try salt nic up to 30 - 35 mg/ml, but only if the lower concentrations don't work for you. The Juul you're used to is probably 5% (which is 50 mg/ml). The T18 should be providing more vapour per puff than the Juul, so you'll want to have a lower concentration of nicotine to get the same effect.
DIY liquid setup doesn't have to be too expensive if you start out small. You're welcome to look around and ask questions in our
