Kurt--that is what I was told and this is what is posted:

*Exclusive* *Happy's Choice* Capella - Vanilla Custard

So you may want to fire Happy off a PM to find out with the deal is??

Sun

I can confirm that the vanilla custard direct from Cappella is definately the same as the 'exclusive' VC from happy vapor. I love this stuff. All non smokers love it too when they walk into my office. 8)

Just ordered the Bannana Split, Peaches and Cream, Cinnemon and crumble cake flavors from cappella along with some more VC to keep me stocked up and 30% discount. Code: HOLIDAY2009

I'll report back with my opinion on the other new flavors.

Yep they probably got smart to the demand and the new world of vaping.

Great stuff though!! I no longer vape JC juice which used to be unmatched in my opinion. Now mist-stix Ry4 mixed with vanilla custard is my new staple.

As promised I was going to report back on the new cappella flavors I ordered, bannana split and peaches & cream.

A while back I ordered the capella Bannana flavor and as someone on this site said, it was totally funky and not very nice. Not touched it since.

But then Happy Vapor got an exclusive mix called Vanilla Custard which is as Sun says the holy grail of vanilla.

Then I found that Capella were selling it as a 'new' flavor and also listed was Bannana Split and Peaches and Cream as 'new' flavors.
So I suspected that Capella may realise they were onto something with the vanilla custard and how it vapes (purely speculating) but I thought maybe they applied the same treatments to the Bannana split and Peaches and cream?

Well I have to say, I just dropped a drop of the banana split onto my atty and it is absolutely delicious!!! Very much in the same vein as the vanilla custard. It remind me of bannana chews/candy unlike the funky bannana they sell, which I guess when baked in a cake would give more of an authentic bannana cake taste.

Likewise the peaches and cream smells amazing.

Now I am going to mix up some Bananna Split and ry4, like I do with vanilla custard. Maybe even do a bananna split and vanilla custard mix. Mmmm.

Brazilleon, were the vanilla custard & banana split the new capella's with stevia? Do they have a nice sweetness to it?

I don't think these have stevia in them, I have pre-ordered some cinnamon and crumble cake that have Stevia.

Both the Banana Split and Vanilla are both deliciously sweet.:p

I got carried away with the discount and all. Orange Creamsicle, French Vanilla, Irish Cream, Caramel, Banana Split, Coffee Bean, Milk Chocolate Toffee, Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Vanilla Custard. Paid $44.97 including shipping ($3.32).

I'm a babe in the woods so far a DYI goes. I have the PG, VG already and the flavors on the way. But I don't have the nic juice yet from EM. It's still in transit. :(

I noted that the French Vanilla has art. flavor in it, which is possibly vanillin. Not sure exactly why we are not supposed to vape vanillin, but that is the general info here. Sun probably knows the answer to that question. It is too bad, since french vanilla IS the vanilla I am looking for, but all french vanilla flavors I've seen at the supermarket use vanillin. Tastes great, but evidently vaping it is a no no. Sun, your thoughts?

From the vanillin MSDS sheet at Safety (MSDS) data for vanillin :
Toxicology

Harmful if swallowed. May be harmful by inhalation or in contact with skin. Eye irritant.

Toxicity data
(The meaning of any abbreviations which appear in this section is given here.)
ORL-RAT LD50 1580 mg kg-1
IPR-RAT LD50 1160 mg kg-1
SKN-RBT LD50 >5010 mg kg-1

LD50 is the dose which killed 50% of the test animals. Assume the same rates apply for an LD50 of people - though the comparison isn't exactly true.

A 150 pound person weighs 68 kg. To reach the LD50 dose, a person would have to ingest 1580mg X 68 kg, or 107440 mg. This is the same as 107.44 grams, or nearly 4 ounces of pure vanillin. That's a LOT of vanillin.

Vanillin is one of the flavors found naturally in the vanilla bean. I seriously doubt that any natural vanilla flavor you can buy contains NO vanillin, so if you vape any vanilla at all you're going to vape vanillin regardless.

Doing a little research, wiki has this to say about vanillin!
In October 2007 Mayu Yamamoto of the International Medical Center of Japan won an Ig Nobel prize for developing a way to extract vanillin from cow dung.
I spewed coffee all over my monitor when I read that.

Kurt--repeated articles have been posted on the Forum here about how Vanillin, when heated, turns toxic and should not be inhaled. That is how why I have stayed away from Vanillin even though it does in fact have a great flavor.
