Help with Vanilla??--The Holy Grail Has Finally been Found with HappyVaper

I got this yesterday and have been vaping it since. It is F A N T A S T I C.

I have to echo MaxUT's words: I am currently vaping at 50% Vanilla Custard and 50% mixings. I did vape it straight, and that was a bit much, but this 50/50 is a touch too weak. I will probably end up at 60% Vanilla.


A double-strength would be awesome. At 60%, I can not possibly achieve more than 30mg, and that's using Blip's 75mg nic-juice. Making the final e-juice with 10% VG for vapor production and I'm down to 22mg. This juice has a final cost of $0.88 per ml.

A double-strength Vanilla Custard brings this down to $0.72 per ml for the same 22mg strength - not much savings, but some.

However, a double strength Vanilla Custard lets me use the cheaper 38mg Blip, which is 2/3 the price per mg per ml. This would get my juice down to $0.56 per ml of 22mg final mix.


Going from $0.88 per ml to $0.56 per ml at 3ml/day saves me about $30 a month. I'm not going to lose any sleep over that.

More importantly, the ability to get to 36mg is key. That would be very, very good to get to. Even a 1.5x strength would allow me 33mg at 60/40, which is close enough.


I'm willing to pay accordingly, too. I will pay double for 2x strength Vanilla Custard.

The only thing I don't like about that place is all the juices are no nicotine, when you add some PG with nicotine in it your going to dilute the taste big time as all of use that have mixed our own are aware. Can we order it premixed with nic to a level we ask or is that a no go in Canada?

I agree, this vanilla custard is good! Thanks to Jack at Happy Vapor for working with us on the shipping! This is a great blend of vanilla & custard flavors. I mixed about 65-70% into VG to get it just right for my taste. 0 nic is okay with me, especially in the evening. Capella's does a great job, but I sure would love to see them offered as concentrates for DIY mixing.

Me too!! I couldn't live without LorAnn's Keoke Coffee, but there are many Capella's flavors that go into that category, and this Vanilla Custard is one of them. I'd love to see them get their flavors more concentrated and drop any artificial coloring (and caramel coloring when it isn't important to the flavor).

I also would love it if they could find a way to add sweetness to the vaping experience. There are times when some mixes need a boost of sweetness, and I am not in love with the sucralose or stevia solutions in another thread.

Oh, and bigger bottles. I'd love a price drop for a 4oz bottle or something. I don't need any pretty labels or a dropper bottle - I just need great quantities of great flavors!

Sorry, I didn't respond sooner! So glad that you all seem to be loving the Vanilla Custard!

We will definitely work on getting a concentrated version happening (try for 2x strength). I will be in touch with Capella early next week and see what we can do about it.

We will also look into getting a better price for a larger size.

We've already discussed getting lighter versions of some of the darker Capella flavours. It may be possible for some of them, but the final taste may change a bit. This is already being looked into.

That's good news!

I used to have an all-day, everyday favorite vanilla pipe tobacco and I'm hoping I can come close to that flavor with the use of a concentrated Vanilla Custard.

Second thing: my girlfriend loves the scent and taste of the VC but can't tolerate much PG. Using less in a mix will definitely help.

Unfortunately the blu cigs vanilla was awesome, but they only sell their own crappy pre-filled cartridges but the few hits I got of it tasted great. How do we find out which juice they are using?

I agree about the sweetness and have been adding a touch of Lorann's marshmallow to sweeten them up a little bit. It works well with Snickerdoodle & Cinnamon Danish Swirl, but those are the only ones I've tried it with so far.

HaploVoss uses Lorann Coconut with vanilla. I haven't tried coconut yet, so do not know how sweet it is but that's a possibility.

Hi Sun Vaporer, I'm a vanilla fan too and very interested to see what other replies you get. Have tried the JC vanilla ice cream and liked it a lot. Oddly, the samplers I got were PG, next ordered NPG and couldn't taste the vanilla at all. Fortunately the supplier Simon/e-cigs.co.uk is one of the good guys and exchanged it for PG and that was fine. I contacted JC first to check if they expect the NPG to be a lot different and the answer was 'no', hence the exchange so perhaps just a fluke.

Back to reason for posting - spotted your post in the Lorann thread mentioning you were thinking of trying Vanillin, I'm sure I've seen somewhere a warning (possibly from Kate) to avoid anything with Vanillin in it as it is or can be poisonous!

I've been eyeing the Lorann flavours too and couldn't find vanilla either, so if anyone else has a recommendation I'd be very interested.

Is it Vanilla extract as that will not vape without adding VG or PG and the fake vanilla has no real taste. It is so hard to get flavor and this product right here is the only one that makes the grade--in the last year I have tried everything on the market---over 50 products and also making my own---this truly is the Holy Grail. I can not say that enough.

Receive my vanilla custard today and it is GREAT! I put two drops full strengh in a new atomizer and than put two drops of unflavored e-liquid in atomizer. After I vape that up,I just drip with the unflavored. The vanilla stays strong in the atomizer. I will do this until the vanilla gets weak again. Did not have to mix it. I really like this. It reminds me of Christmas time as a kid. Finally a great tasting vanilla.

I'm finding that I don't vape it for long. After an hour, the flavor disappears because I'm used to it. So I switch to my coffee cart-atty combo, and that's nice for a half hour. Then back to the VC, and WOW! all over again.

I get to enjoy this stuff just like the first time, many times a day.

I would love to have this Vanilla Custard, but even Lorann's has too much PG for me, and it's so concentrated that it only takes a few drops of it. Capella drops take more to get adequate flavor, and any PG is too much PG for me (and many others).

Please help us find the perfect vanilla with No PG. Ok, I'd even be happy with good vanilla (but not perfect) with No PG. Suggestions? I've been following your vanilla threads for months hoping that you'de find something that we all could use.

Hey guys!

The request for a highly concentrated version has already gone in. They are looking into this.

I will ask for a non-PG version, as well. Unfortunately, it may take some time as there has just been a death in the family for one of the owners. Hopefully, we can look into this in a couple of weeks...
