Thanks Kim! I sure will. I noticed that I was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY behind by still using the T2 clearomizers lol. I found the perfect juice for me but noticed if I put my juice in anything besides a clearomizer it ruins the taste. So I am really hoping these are similar to the T2 just without all the cons and from what I read so far these should hook me right up. ;) I knew I would find something on here. I always come here and do my research if I am looking for something or before I buy something new to see what others say. Love this forum - super helpful.

The part that amazes me the most is that even if I leave it sitting on its side for days, it doesn't leak. I would have thought that the liquid would pool in the atomizer chamber and flood it, but it's remarkably well-behaved.

Sounds awesome. I would love to actually vape my juice instead of soaking a tissue with all the juice that has leaked. :D You should see my desk.... it looks like I have the flu constantly with all the tissues laying around. rofl.

I feel your pain. There's a mini Vivi Nova lying in a pool of juice on my desk at this very moment. I'm glad it's a glass top. There's an AGA-T propped up in a coil of Buckyballs too, because they just love to gush everywhere if not kept vertical.

[And if a Fed bureaucracy can ban the sale of frickin' magnets, you'd better believe they can ban e-cigs. Go sign the petition!]

Damn! You have Bucky balls! I only have Bucky cubes. I think I still have a brand new set somewhere too... ;)

Got it today whooooop whoooooop. Love it so far! Looks and performance are awesome. It changes the taste of my juice slightly but its not a burnt taste and that is all that counts :D .... I do have one more question though that I am sure one of you can help me with. Is there an adapter piece I can screw between the battery and the tank so it don't look so tacky?

I'm guessing you're using either an eGo or spinner.......think this is what you're looking for, though it's currently out of stock, you can click on the link to be notified whan it becomes available again

eGo Thread Sleeve Type C Large Tank - Fits All Std eGos CHROME [gv-egoTYPEC-LargeTankeGoThreadSl] - $2.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

if all you want to do is cover the ego threads you could use the smaller one

eGo Thread Sleeve Type D Small Tank - Fits All Std eGos CHROME [gv-egoTYPED-SmallTankeGoThreadSl] - $2.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

I've had a couple of these, and I love them aside from a few issues. As I posted before, my first one had the threads take a dump and will no longer thread onto my Provari. I've also noticed, before that happened, I get a ton of E1 shorts after I replace the head. This is happening on my current one as well, and it takes a combination of unscrewing the plate at the top, or unscrewing the whole thing from my provari a little bit. Would love to not have to worry about this thing rocking back and forth, or leaking from the middle.

The description on these say that the center posts can be screwed in to adjust the height, but that is absolutely not the case. What's the deal GV?

I use the SplitFires 85% of my vaping time.
The only time I ever got E1 on my PV was when the coil was touching the shell it is in. Take a peek at it. If it's close to one of the sides move it over a tad. Even if it does not look like it's touching give it a little nudge back and forth.
The threads...yeah...they suck. I use some sort of adapter or extension on the majority of mine. If the threads are not totally trashed you may be able to get an extension to screw onto it.

Thanks, but I don't see anything like that going on :( Worth a try, tried pushing the coils away a bit, but no luck for me. Do you think that might still be the case, even when I can avoid the E1 by just unscrewing things a bit? I really like these things, but it's kind of driving me nuts and I'm sure it's taking a massive toll on the threading, which as we already know isn't that sturdy to begin with.

It has to be some kind of short. Is the center post on the base centered in the 510 connection? Maybe it got kicked over somehow when the head was put on and tightening it down on a battery produces just enough pressure to push it to the side and make contact. Unlikely but it's got to be something along those lines. If not, as a last resort I would put on a new head.

Wally: Would you mind sharing exactly what you do with these splitfires for optimum performance? I know your the man when it comes to these..I want to pick up a couple for Doomsday..

First of all the performance right out of the box is very good. No need to fiddle unless you have a fiddler personality.

I make the slots in the coil cups wider and deeper with a Dremel cutting wheel. No need for the narrow slots on this style. When I am done the coil is basically just lying there unrestricted. And since the slot is deeper also it is very close to the air inlet. If you go too deep the coil will touch the post and you will short. I also opened up the holes a touch on the mounting plate as much as I could without cutting into the threads and chamfered the holes a touch with a small center drill. Recoiled with 3mm silica wick. With the wider slot the wicks flow very good.
I have three more waiting to be butchered. If I remember I'll take notes and pictures when I do them. Are they that much better? I think so. Although they sure do suck up the juice now.

I'm a bit bummed today. Almost out of Butterscotch. I screwed up my order the other day and got Butterscotch Bacco instead. Got it sitting uncapped in my heated ultrasonic cleaner now. I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Long ago I tried a sample but did not care for it. The sample was clear. This bottle is very dark so maybe the sample I got was screwed up. Who knows I may like it better although that's hard to imagine. I have been vaping more and more tobacco flavors lately so we'll see.
