I have a multimeter. Must be a very cheap one. It's yellow and has two wires,red and black, that you can plug into the unit. Instructions are either terrible or over my head.
There is a dial in the center but none of the settings make any sense to me.
When I did a search to find an answer, I found that many people complain that they blew out the unit trying to read voltages that were too high for the unit. I think the max is 1.5v

On a more serious note. the sweet spot is said to fall between 6-12 watts. 12 watts being on the higher side. 9 watts being smack down the middle. 4 watts is the lower side what a 510 with stock batts produce. I kept the upper limit at 11 watts.
The current chart basically keeps the draw under 2 Amps

I really like this battery, as it has enough discharge rate to keep up with LR atomizers and has a protection circuit to boot. I test fit one in the Precise when designing it too:

That is a better battery. All the hi drains I have don't last as long as these ones. I don't see any advantage to hi drains.
The advantage to me is your not overstressing your mod and the Batt when drawing more Amps. An LR Atty draws 2 Amps comared to a regulat Atty's 1 Amp draw. Its not only about run time it's a safty factor most of All.

What about Madvapes Ultrafire 18650 3.7volt @ 3000mah protected and their cr123a's? Are there any in-depth comparison reviews of Ultra-fire versus AW's? Personal experience with both?
