Good morning chaps! I just thought I’d drop a post to see what your favourite high end rta’s are and maybe some recommendations? I’m looking for something that’s on par with my GT4 s (draw, flavour etc) I’ve bought a dvarw dl fl and a hussar legacy X rta and I’ve listed both for sale (although I might reconsider the dvarw) on Reddit as the hussar is not my cup of tea and the whistle on the dvarw gets a bit annoying, so yeah what are your thoughts/ recommendations/ input? Cheers.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I've no RTAs myself as the original Lemo put me off of the idea for lfe,

That's so sad to hear but not surprising because the Lemo and Lemo 2 are the worst RTAs to have as a 1st RTA. Please reconsider before the WHO convinces the UK to ban open systems.

Hi and welcome to the Forum - I've no RTAs myself as the original Lemo put me off of the idea for lfe, but I'm sure you'll get plenty ideas from members with experience before long!

thank you kind sir! Ive only been into rebuildable’s for roughly a year so I haven’t had the pleasure of dealing with the lemo, although in the short time I’ve been building I have definitely had a few lemons, both rda’s and rta’s.

Hi and welcome to ECF! I'm not an expert on high end devices, but I recommend you visit this thread:

Shinyitis Support Group

Tell them Katya sent you! :D

thank you! I’ll be sure to have a look at some point although I’m not sure shinyitis applies to me.....

Welcome to ECF Cradlemycoinpurse819. :)

I own the following...they're all fairly recent so you should have no problems obtaining them.

StattQualm SQuape Arise (MTL-DL). It's very easy to build on and has excellent flavor. It offers RDA like flavor in an RTA.

Atmizoo Tripod (MTL-DL). It's also very easy to build on and has excellent flavor.

Dvarw DL FL is really good. I was able to kill the whistle by installing one of KHW Mods optional airflow inserts. Dvarw's offer great flavor. Easy to build. I vape it from a very airy MTL to DL, depending on what AF insert I have installed.

Dvarw MTL FL is also really good. KHW has optional AF inserts for it that offer everything from a proper MTL (0.8mm AF) to a restricted DL. Out of the box it IS whisper quiet.

SvoeMesto Kayfun's, any of the current ones are excellent. I have some Prime's and KFL19's.

Hussar Project X (MTL - RDL) is great, if you can still find one. Like the Arise it offers RDA like flavor in an RTA.

I have several older HE RTA's, mostly Kayfun's, but those are not available anymore. You can still find them on the resale market from time to time. Also once in a while in our classifieds.

Hope that helps! :D

Did you ever sell your Hussar Legacy X ??? Please let me know. TIA

ETA: I don't have a GT4 so I can't say if those ^^^ are on par or not.

thank you for the recommendations and the lengthy reply I appreciate it! I’ve tried a different airflow insert in the dvarw and I still get whistling, tried the coil belly up, belly down, different heights etc think I’ll give it another crack before I give up on that one.

I’m not really into mtl so kayfun’s etc are not what I’m looking for. I’ll have to have a look at the squapes and the project x. Was in two minds about the taifun gx but dealing with steal wicks looks a pain in the ... to me.

I still have the legacy X but I’m in the uk and looking for £170, it’s pricey but I’ve put one build through it, and that comes with a spare top cap 2 hussar ultem drip tips a hussar gr drip tip, an ultem 3.5ml glass section, putting aside the £45 for custom taxes I’m £80 down on that rta at that price. I know sr-Vapes in the uk has it for £220 brand new if thats of interest to you :thumb:

Why do you think Ould G has been stocking up on squonkers like they were going out of fashion, not to mention wire, BF atomisers, spare squonk bottles and bottles of E Liquid since Autumn last?

I'm still on the liquid in the Ready Use drum but have been ordering a half litre of juice every month for stock. As I'm just about 71 I reckon I need 10 years max supply!

The stocks also include 10 Wasp Nanos, unused and still in the box so far.

Yes I got very good with the Lemo at cleaning E Liquid off furniture, surfaces carpets and clothing - that's why I got interested in squonking!

Not all Kayfun's are MTL.

The newer Kayfun 5² and the Kayfun 5² SE are DL.

Last time I checked Creme de Vape (UK) had them in-stock.

that was another one I was looking at but I believe it’s quite a bit more restrictive than I’d like, don’t quote me on that though.
