Ok guys lol! Due to the persistent taset of oil i will have to break it down and clean in the sonic again. I'll take a bunch of pics and try to do some kind of review over the weekend!

I received my Merkava V5 and XVOstick 60 too. The atty looks like a winner but I haven't built it yet. I was going to late the other night but it was covered in machine oil and I was to lazy to wash it out and let it dry. I'll try this weekend after a proper clean and soak.

I was skeptical about the changes on the Xvostick 60 but it's a wonderful mod and the price is great.

It's a bit rubbish that they still don't clean these things having said that they will

I'm sure everyone would agree. They have said several times they would make sure these things are cleaned properly but still dont do it. Even chinese $20 atties turn up clean these days as far as I know...

Anyone has a Skyline with ultem tanks? I would like to see the difference with ultem and ultem polished tank as I don't know which to buy. I tried Google but that doesn't help and on ESG website there are only pics of tanks themselves and not on a Skyline.

Probably not my favorite deck to build on but does it produce flavor. Calix V3 just bumped my skyline. Still need to fiddle with some different builds on the skyline before it will go back in that beautiful box. But for now I'm Loving the Calix

Slightly different aorund the wick holes/slots. Will post pic later!

Question, how big of a clapton have you guys been able to fit into the skyline, I'm having trouble getting just a regular one in there, I think it's the jfc that's hitting it.

5 wrap on 2.5 Id no problems might do 6 next build - but current one is very tasty

I usually don't go lower than 3mm but I'll try it... I think mine was a 5 or so wrap spaced

I space my Kanthal, didn't space the ss claptons in wattage

3mm 8 rap fitted last night and in love again with the skyline. Perfect flavor and the coil isn't spaced.

I can't cotton with no TC, so it's gotta be spaced, Im not getting a fused one in anytime soon but got a regular 316/430 round 3mm one in. It's barely spaced, just enough so that TC works and I don't have hot spots.
