Really want to know if you can change it with the coil in place, because I'm really lazy [emoji16]

That did occur to me also. Looking at the pics, it's hard to see how it could be done without recoiling. I think they even say as much in the accompanying text but I guess we will find out soon enough!!

I was going to ask if you were getting it for review so that's great news!! Look forward to that one :)
On another note, and while you are here, are you going to do a full review on the soul/soulless??

You are going to have your work cut out if you need a complete rebuild for each one...As Roy Castle would have said, 'Dedication's what you need' :)

Not going to happen, everything that I said in that quick look video still applies, also the deck I have isn't the same as the new ones, they are all CNC'd.

Still glad I bought it and one I intend to keep, only let down is the sections binding together, much the same issues as the old kayfun.

Fair enough! That is an annoying issue with the binding but it does look like a very nice atty - presumably the CNC'd versions will fare a little better.

Haha - yeah that would be great but I think it said change when you change coils. It would be awesome if you could though

A big thanks to Oscar at Vapin Art for taking care of a customer quickly and without question! This is the kind of service that brings people back! Can't say enough about this experience.

And a big thanks to all of you on this thread for your assist on getting the Hussar operational, very grateful to all! I used the micro tank on this try and was successful. I thought sure I used to much cotton on the build. The Hussar needs a heavy wick compared to other RTA's I've used.

The other surprise was opening up the AFC more than I'm used to really brightened the flavors. I had the AFC dialed back pretty tight and was getting a decent vape but the flavor was muted and I started to think, eh...

Then I opened up the AFC to almost wide open and HELLO!
The vapor is warm and lush without being hot. It's more dense almost thick like the Origen without feeling overly moist on my palette. The depth of the flavor is simply delightful and the nuances are coming through in spades.

This is more air than I'm used to in the pursuit of flavor, restricted hits have become the norm. The Hussar is teaching me a lesson.

For reference twisted 30 Kanthal, 2.5 mm I.d., 6 winds 1.0 ohm, bacon v2. Bright Virginia NET, 70pg/30vg, 6 mg nic. Sorry for the wonky image.

Great news! It is interesting that you mention the AFC as I have recently been opening it right up which is not what I normally do either. I also find that I get a smoother draw with better flavour.

LOL, +1, same, as per pic a few msgs ago, seem to always run Hussars with AFC wide open; does the opposite of what you'd expect and improves flavor.

Just curious: does anybody ever actually use the super-exciting "side-fill" port on the atty? I have used it... never, after popping off top I just unscrew and fill tank, seems faster and simpler. (shrug)

I always use the side fill when using the micro (which is all the time now) I top filled with the big sleeve.

That's how I filled it when I had one, why?
With the big original tank I just top fill because every juice that I have has a glass dropper top which doesn't lend itself very well to the side-fill, so I'd have to get different containers just for the Hussar and I haven't :)

I guess I'm unnecessarily stressing the very thin O-rings by unscrewing the top a lot, but they're lubed with VG and so far that's the only way I've filled it.

Yeah I know what you mean, most of mine are glass droppers too, but I still get away with using them but it is a bit of a pain. I only lose a drop or two anyway :)

I think it's fairly certain from those photos that you'd have to remove the coil. The only atomiser that allows you to do this is afaik is the Tilemahos Armed. It's one of the few features Imeo has got right lately (and the springomizer).

We are just as bad as one another :p I did buy a spare glass tank. The polished Ultem does look very good, but I prefer glass and there are so few decent glass attys these days that I decided against getting the ultem :)
