Let's keep this thread free of any discussions involving counterfeit attys please.

I am not saying this rta from Turkey is a counterfeit BTW. even though it seems remarkably similar to the Skyline.

I am referring to attys that attempt to do a 1:1 rip-off of another persons intellectual property often using the same branding etc. I am talking about what many people call clones - which in my opinion is simply a more palatable way to many, than stating what they actually are... and that is a counterfeit of someone's research and development, hard work and financial investment.

I'll now jump off my soapbox ;-)

I have no problems when an atty is inspired by another, or has similarities. I just don't agree with 100% fake products.

There are only so many ways to place a coil and feed juice and air, so things are naturally going to become close to a plateau for new concepts.

I do like innovation though, even if it is just a small tweak to something that has come before :)

@Yonjuro
This post got me thinking. I am really interested in the Spica and a tad frustrated waiting on the release of the Skyline. I enjoy obscure and unusual devices. Price isn't an obstacle if it fits my preferences. Learning a devices quirks and nuances to find its sweet spot is captivating.
With the Spica I must agree the similarity to the Skyline is uncanny. I'm not impressed with the significant price increase at release and the promise of a price increase coming after the first run or earlier.
Original work and those that do it, IMHO, deserve to reap the benefit of their efforts. Clones are at the end if the day, theft. There I said it. Clones are criminal, period.
Cultural nuances may play a role in behaviors but we can make choices to support those that elevate design and function, or not.
I think my choice is to support the innovators and ignore the rest. Thank you for this post and for getting on your soapbox!

Thanks for your kind words :)

I am really pleased that we are 45 pages into this thread and there have been many great posts. I am also happy that there has only been a rare few mentions of counterfeits and I hope this continues.

Again, I will say that I am not putting the Spica in the same category as counterfeits - having said that I really haven't looked at the full details of this atty :)

I think it was @Mark Todd who said something along the lines that there are plenty of very good and reasonably priced attys that are unique and original without having to support the pedallers of forgeries.

juiced up wick and length prior to moving into the juice well, tips of cotton to sit in well, but not forced into juice holes :) View attachment 611985
Hi mate, after try many methode and find a dry hit, I found this wicking is the best of the best. Amazing flavor and the wick is sature well. People often get wrong (including me), they packing the wicking slot and make wick dry. To be honest , only a line of wick need to stop the juice chanel and it good

I saw some pictures today that showed them being finished up, so my guess is any day now.

It's going to be a matter of days now @vapdivrr! I would check the site a few times a day from now... the whole world is waiting and it's close. Can't get an exact time and date from them but I do know it's close now!

Hands down the best flavor I have ever had from a tank. Got the tank, beauty ring, and spares from intaste.de for the same price shipped as the tank was selling for in the US.
