Hives?

Hello,
I bought this penstyle at the local smoke shop. Today I used it more than I have previously. I have hives now and they are driving me crazy. This is only day 3 into this world, but I am very worried about this. I have read that VG is better than PG for allergies. Where do I get VG? What are the best stores for this?
Any help is definitely welcome. I'm not ready to give up just yet.

if you are buying refill cartridges from a gas station or smoke shop those are always going to have pg in them.. usually they consist of a lot of PG. You need to find some vendors online that make 100% vg juice and see if that helps. There are tons of vendors that make juices that have like 50% pg 50% vg and maybe that would work for you as well. Either way your are gonna have to fill your own cartridges with juice that doesnt contain any or as much PG as those pre-made ones. I.E. cartomizers, atomizers, clearomizers etc.

check out virginvapor.com or do some research on 100% vg juices theres lots of threads on the forums

If you are using a juice delivery device that allows you to fill them from a bottle, I recommend a couple of e-juice vendors that use all organic vg e-liquid. Both offer sample packs to try smaller bottles to decide if you like them, then order a larger quantity of the ones that you like. Vaperite is currently offering 20% off of their juices with the coupon code "20 OFF" at checkout.

Vaperite | E Liquid Flavors and Organic E Cigarette Liquid

Organically Flavored E-liquid | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

If you try Virgin Vapers she makes all VG to the consistency of pg, nice and thin and some how I get decent throat hit, at least with caramel 24 mg nicotine. I haven't tried her other flavors because I prefer 36mg. Just love her organic caramel. Search flavors that interest. Search 100% VG flavors maybe.

Are we talking about hives all over your skin or more like sores in your mouth? If it's just in your mouth and you have just stopped smoking, it is likely a side effect of cessation and not related directly to vaping.

Exactly. Also, speaking from experience, did you make any recent changes in your laundry detergent or softener? I thought I was getting hives from vaping, but it turned out that a certain brand of laundry softener causes me to break out in hives.

I never knew you could get hives from vaping. this thread has taught me something.
I did know however that the liquid can irritate your skin.
I got a sample of one liquid and got some on my hand when I was cleaning up after refilling a carto and I got a very itchy almost painful irritation where it was. I dont know if it was something with that juice specifically or if it was because I did not immediately wash my hands after. It was maybe 5 mins between getting it on me and washing my hands, which I have done before but never had a reaction like that.

I used to get hives from EVERYHING!!! but now I get allergy shots and take drugs and they only seem to show up when I am stressed.

having said that when I vape juices that are more PG my throat closes a little but just at first and then seems to go away. I prefer 100% VG but it is rather thick and can gunk up atomizers quickly.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE RAWR JY4!!! 100% vg all day vape and no reaction.

hope this rant might help a little.
