I think I've come to the conclusion that dremeling slots works better for me than punching holes. That's all I wanted to say!
I have never had a wicking problem with holes except with a drill that wadded the filler material inside the carto after the drill bit broke thru. and they would never work after that. I use the saddle valve to make a hole and it has worked very well for me. I have tried the dremel for slots and what has happened to me is, the steel on the carto gets so hot when cutting the slot with the dremel blade, that it melts the wicking material so it will not wick like it should. You can't see that it is melted but when I took it apart I could see it. It stayed nice and white but it kind of fused the fibers together so it wouldn't wick very well. By for now, That's just my two cents worth. Happy vaping.Punching holes seems to mess up the wicking for me. When they work well, they're great, but when they don't work, they just don't. I can't figure out why. What seems to work best for me is dremeling two slots in parallel. Then, if I get too much juice flowing in, I can slide the tank up a bit to cover one of the slots.

Note: I used the little dremel cutoff blade to cut the slot.
Thats sounds like a very good idea, it will keep it cooler. I like the saddle valve because I can keep it in my room to use and not go to the garage or shop to use the dremmel. LOLWhen I use the dremmel, I fill the carto before cutting. A wet filler wont burn so easy.
I have decided to find some 20 ML syringes for this. Please Help! I let my fingers do the walking and they are sore to the bone, Can't find a 20 ML anywhere. I have tried Feed supply, Pet shops. I cannot buy from vet supply houses and have no tractor supply places near me. I find a lot of 10 and 35 ml, no 20 ml.
What national chains can I try next?
Can you buy from amazon?
20ml
The shipping is ridiculous from amazon.
That's maybe why you can't get the saddle valve hole to work is the Go-Go, I have never used one so I don't know. I use the reg 510 Boge or SS single or double coil cartomizers and NEVER had one not work with the holes. On that same note and never using a go-go cart its completely foreign to me how you could possibly take apart and clean/dry burn a regular cartomizer. With the standard carto for one thing, you can't take the steel tube off without messing it up, 2nd if its been used, the diaper around the coil would be burned and unusable. Anyway punched holes do work with REGULAR 510 Cartomizers.I really wanted the saddle valve to work for me. The punched holes look so much neater and more professional than my dremeled slots. And also, as wyojoe said, it's a lot easier to keep the punch right in the house and not have to go out to the garage to dremel. If I could figure out why they don't allow juice into the carto as well (and correct the problem) I'd continue using them.
I don't have a problem with the filler burning or melting. Sometimes the dremel wheel pulls a little wisp of puff out of the carto, but it doesn't hurt the performance any.
Another bonus for me, for using a slot, is that I can still pull the fill out, dry burn, and rebuild my cartos. If I punch holes, the rough bits of metal on the inside catch the filler and it tears when I pull it out. Not a concern if you can't rebuild your cartos, but the go-go's can be used over and over again this way. Which suits me, because I'm cheap.
Ditto! This is where I ordered mine.![]()

The ones from animal health looks like the wrong ones, they have 3 ridges. The ones in the video and the ones I use have only 2 ridges.
