Homemade syringe tank mod, looks easy!

As you can see from the picture posted previously, these earring cushions do NOT have a hole going all the way through. No need to glue in additional parts. No need to epoxy a hole closed. You just make a 1/8 hole and pop it in. It's a real snug fit, so you can even enlarge the hole a bit if you'd like. Easy peasy, no hassle fill plug. Doesn't look as nice as jeweled fill plugs, but it's functional.

Not being a girl, I'm just not up on things like earing cushions. Have you a link to a a website where one could get these ? Are they all the same size ?

Here's some that look pretty good. I have an account, so I can see prices. 144 of them for $8.95, $4.95 postage.
https://www.riogrande.com/Product/Rubber-Ear-Clip-Cushions/631059. I know the pic looks big, but they're around approx. 1/4" or so at the widest.

That's about .10 a piece. I'd be happy to order them for those interested, and then we can split them up. I'd want to keep 20-25 of them.

You guys know madvapes just started selling dual coil tanks with a drip tip for $11.99? Check it out -

Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer

The cartos have an interesting flange on the bottom -

The flange would be to prevent the tank slipping down such that liquid might eneter the battery connector.

Someone will think of a simple DIY flange trick soon ...

Yup - I figure the flange is to keep hamhanded folks from pushing the tank off the carto when they put the top cap on :D

my4jewels and spazmelda-those look great. Wish I would have found em when I was searching online for them. Best I found was 2.99 for 6 of the earring backs. I got a better price at michaels with 14 for 3 bucks. I wasn't able to find the little rubber pieces by themselves.

kinabaloo here's some I found on in ebay in GB if you're interested. 10 of em for GBP 1.20

would it be possible to solder a metal washer to a carto? I seriously have no clue, but in my little head it would work!

Those do look interesting but I wonder if they would be harder to get on and off, compared to a plug?

Maybe - the only thing I'd worry about is that's a lot of metal to heat. I'd be afraid of melting solder connections inside the carto.

Hmm, I'd take 20 of those m4j. Those look like they would work great.

The big IF you order I'm always up to trying something new, I would take 20-25 of them. Note: Your pretty good at math too, for a girl.
