can you guys post a coil setups for your hornet ? (pics) I just received mine and not sure how to feel about it with my current coil setup...
I drilled mine to 1/16" and love it but it is pretty airy you may want to try 1 size smaller and take your time if you have the SS 1 its pretty tough drillingHey guys! I've got a hornet on a reo 18490 and it's my only rba so of course I love it! However, I'm considering drilling the air hole to loosen the draw a little. what do you guys think? Anyone have a good link to a tutorial? I'm usually good at finding stuff but can't seem to find one.

Still haven't opened up the hole yet but I've been playing with wick-coil set ups. Stainless only of course!
One issue I'm beginning to have with the hornet: The top o ring for attaching the cap is losing integrity and getting flaky from pulling it off and putting it on. Not sure if it's just a bad quality o-ring or what but I don't think this should be happening two weeks in.
Mine came Wed and I it's awesome...I put a red door on my green mini (which I've used for almost 2 years now) and I call this my Christmas Reo:

my cap was so tight that I just pulled the top oring off and now it goes on and off pretty nicely![]()
So I just placed an order for my Hornet! So excited! I've been using the Reomizer for the last couple months and it has been just great to me and it really helped me dip my feet in the whole RBA experiment. For those who have used both, are there any significant differences between the Hornet and the Reomizer besides the build? I know that the draw is a lot stiffer compared to the Reomizer... I've gotten pretty accustomed to the Reomizer now, but I think a tighter draw might not be too bad and it seems like a lot of people just drill the air hole a little bigger to get a more airy hit. Besides that does the Hornet seem to hit better and does it seem to stand up against leaking better as well? JCOkie definitely gave me a great explanation but I wanted to get some more opinions.
I love my Reomizer....but it is definitely starting to fall apart (due to my carelessness and noob status) but hey it only cost me $30 while the Hornet is $80I just can't wait for the Chalice to be back in stock, I have heard just great things about them and they do look very pretty. I think I will buy a VV for my birthday during the summer so I'm super excited for when the time comes!
do you guys place the airhole right next to the coil for most vapor ? Also does your hornet leak in the pocket through the air hole?
Yes air hole goes right in front of coil and the only time they leak out the air hole is when you have them flooded
