My goodness Ash, you really needed to sleep!!

I feel I need full month of sleep

I have a 3 1/2 year old and a 10 week old. The next time I get to spend 14 hours in bed I'll be dead ;)

That really a good news OMG , My baby will be here in like 1 month and half is that mean I will miss the bed

On the topic of torches. Anyone successfully use propane torches (i.e. canister type used for sweating pipes, etc)? I've seen some comments that people feel they may be too hot, but it would seem this could be easily controlled based on where the wick is held to the flame, etc... Anyone have any success or failure using one for wicks?

I know the mini will come with enough to last quite some time, but curiosity is killing this cat.

They work just fine, mine is even hotter than that, I'm using a Burnzomatic Surefire Propylene torch these days. You just have to work fast so as not to disintegrate the mesh.

Finally getting back in business.

Someone with experience. Is this coil good? Is the top loop too loose? Should I just vape it? It seems a bit harsh so far but I *just* wrapped it. This is a new coil and wick.

The top and bottom coils are too loose.

No. not at all, it slows down wicking performance. If the wick is flooding it is because it is so dirty that it is working like a straw instead of a wick.

Thank you! I may see increased flavor performance now.... Just took a drag. HOLY CRAP. Yes I notice better flavor.

Ok, time for some real PV porn...
I got sick of knowing that I had a pv made of the best ss money can buy with such a mediocre finish, so I spent the past few hours posted at the buffing wheel polishing my Zenesis Standard #0078! I also modified my airflow hole to 5/64" and added a slight bevel (which I think is aesthetically pleasing as well as cuts down on the whistling noise when you take hard pulls from it". Running 4 wraps of 30g kanthal a-1 with some 400 mesh, and this baby is vaping like a cannon! Also should mention that I polished very internal component of the switch, including the washers and magnets. Hope everyone thinks it's as sexy as I do...

that's a righteous shine, hahaa..i would wait until I have 2 zenesis before trying to do this to one of them. i like to vape while i work.

It's ok. Vic will answer my coil question when she catches up :)
Morning Vic

Morning, my man! I asked that SAME question...hundreds of pages back and was told "because it's easier to wrap the coil when the wick is installed" and "it only takes a few seconds to wrap an installed wick."

MY thinking was, (for traveling, mostly) I could roll and oxidize a bunch of wicks, wrap the coils, stick them in a case and when needed, just stick them in the Zenesis. I have never tried it though. I may pre-wrap a coil on a wick the next time I change mine out...just to see what happens. I'm adventurous! :D
