Since I don't have my Zen yet, what contacts are we cleaning? Or will I even understand until I can see and actual PV?

It would be the threads that the switch threads onto, the entire switch assembly, the top of the screw head on the switch, and the positive head screw located inside the tube body. hope this makes sense. theres also a great post by lorderos that shows you exactly what to do, a couple pages back

I just cleaned my switches, the threads on the switch and the threads on the Zenesis tube, the positive screw inside the tube and the negative screw on the switch with it. Others may do something different, but that's what I did. :)

Here is something to try to reduce condensated juice in your cap. If you watch your coil, you will see it still produces some vapor after you release the button. You can test this also by back puffing into the mouthpiece after you take a draw. See how much vapor comes out the intake?

Too get all your vapor, release the button a second or so before you finish your draw.

I just picked up some DeoxIT and DeoxIt Gold, that's good for a contact cleaner, isn't it?

The Caig ProGold is really all you need for a new Zenesis and it has a mild deoxidizer in it with the added lubricant and contact enhancer that Deoxit lacks. The Deoxit is a potent cleaner (unless you get the diluted version which should be plenty strong enough), but this is sort of overkill for a new Zenesis. I have coated the entire internals of the switch and screws with ProGold and never have had any issues with firing, but if your Zenesis is older and oxidized with a noticeable gray film on the switch or screws (stains a cotton swap darkish grey) you can by all mean Deoxit it first then wipe it clean and then apply ProGold as a final step to lubricate and protect as well as enhance the conductivity of the switch and screw heads for the batteries.

I wouldn't just leave Deoxit on it without wiping it off and then applying Caig ProGold which is better for the switch internals because of the added lubrication and lasting seal it has over the metal surface that prevents further oxidation and increases the conductivity of the surface.

ProGold is really the better product for a new Zenesis and is stainless.

I use the ProGold Pen, it the least messiest way to apply it.

Might be easier once in hand. Did you see Lorderos' post yesterday? He did a great job photographing & explaining.

I did see Lordero's post...but didn't study it in detail, I was in a rush. OK. It does make sense, but will be more clear when I have one to look at. Also, I blanked for a minute and forgot the switch was on the bottom
Thanks for the answers everyone!
