Hmm weird, it might be because of how many post to show in ones general settings. 40posts takes me to this page. defaultr settings takes me to lords post. Either way were both trying to be helpful, which is what a true Zenfidel is.

That must be it. I'm set at 40 posts per page. Anyway...she'll get to the info one way or the other. If not on this thread, it's also in the group forum.

Having some great results with the Caig ProGold which I believe is just called DeoxIT Gold now.

Dont remember if Lorderos mentions lightly sanding the screw head on top of the switch but that alone has helped me a ton. That with cleaning with isopropyl, applying deoxit gold, going to 325 mesh (which I re seasoned on a gas stove), and dropping to 4 coils... I'm getting a huge performance increase from what I got out of the box. Almost too much vapor.. and increased flavor.

I've always chain vaped for periods but the way the AYS is going now, I am forced to put it down after a couple hits. It's overwhelming.

Oops, I forgot that it's even easier than that! Instead of clicking on the post number and having to copy the resulting URL, all you have to do is right click the post number, and then select "copy shortcut" from the resulting menu. Then merely paste into your post!

Looks like it's time for a new wick. It's been light on flavor, and now that I've cleaned all of the contacts up, it's hitting harder and the wick can't seem to keep up. Lots of nasty hits. I think I'm going to give 325 a shot, and a 4 wrap. This is my first at building a coil and wick setup. I've watched the video's a bunch of times before. The Jack Frost method is sounding tempting. I'm a lil nervous about this.

Sooo, time to run to Target and grab a prescription for my wife, then I'll get started. If you have words of warning/ encouragement/ advice, feel free to holler!

These things are general maintenance of any tube APV, genesis or not. Think of it as a tune up so your device fires optimally. I would only sand as a final resort if others fail.
