Splooge some juice and burn it off, repeat several times, getting the wick seasoned.

Stormie, don't forget that if it is too harsh and hot for you, you might need another wrap of coil. With 32 wire I need 5 or even 6 wraps.

I don't know if it's too harsh because it never seemed to work right.

Tilt and fire it up.. make sure there are no hot spots on the coil..

Sure thing, I too have had to use a blunt mini needle tip to get it open enough to get a medium paperclip in there.

Maybe you should just put it down for an hour or two. I can't do anything if I'm all wound up. You know what you need to do, go for a walk. Have drink. Revisit it later.
