Ok the bottom is soaking wet it just won't light up.

Ok I just can't seem to do this. They were lighting up fine and now they aren't.

If there is juice in the tank or on the wick, then it's typical. An even glowing wick is typically a dry wick. A wet wick tends to glow brighter from the top down because of fluid retained in the bottom.

Unless your wick is touching the top post, the botton of the tank, or the top cap because it's too tall you should go by your original assessment.

I have a question now. When you are doing the wet to dry burns on a new coil, do I have to use just plain PG or can I use any of my juices? I don't have any plain PG or VG.

I use crap I don't need or care about wasting. I have a liter of 24mg PG base, I use it to get the wick going. You can use PG, VG, NICOTINE BASE, crappy flavors you hate, or the stuff you love.

Anyting you want!
