They will be best seen in the Eastern sky. Early morning hours. I know you can look up moonrise times.....
After midnight.

I love the perseids ! They are awesome.

They are how I remembered a friend's birthday for years.
I think her's is the 14th, but they always fell right around her birthday.
I've lost touch with her years ago, but what an awesome present!

Ok, I suck at geography and time zones. LOL

It says the same times, 11PM to 3AM in the Eastern sky.

Edited to add:
They are best in the early morning hours after midnight.
We got to watch year before last in VA at a house we rented in the middle of nowhere.
We could even see the Milky Way.

Have you tried using the double wick method? (wrapping a thin wick around the premade wick)

You're a brave coiler, not using the Jack Frost method. I won't be that brave for a long time I'm sure lol.

I tried, once, twisting two lengths of 32 together and then wrapping the coil.

Vapor. Machine.

But the TH was way too much for me.
Made me cough.

Yeah I am switching it out at 3.65 and it's not lasting the whole tank.

Also is it normal for for the battery to be loose in the PV? Meaning when I shake shake the PV I can feel the battery shaking and rattling back and forth.

26 kanthal, tried this today, wow, hotter than a pistol, even a 200 mesh wick couldn't keep up with this. Not enjoyable. Went back to twisted 28, now there's a vape that can't be beat.

With "light pollution" and other environmental things these days, I think they're harder to see.

It's a shame, but I always drag my kids out too. LOL
Even just a full moon, I make sure they look at it.

Hopefully, they'll do the same for their kids.
