Good morning all!
Ok. . . where shall I start? Received my ZAP a little over a week ago from Provape and am using (trying to, anyway) with a Precise Plus 18350. Since I was going on vacation, didn't have a lot of time to play with it, so did a little playing before heading off and since coming back. Problem for me is I'm at work and can't play with it at work, so any suggestions offered, I'll trying to apply when I get home tonight.
There is, I'm sure, no real "problem", but I just can't get things going correctly. I've observed that the coils take a LONG time to heat up, in my opinion anyway and I can't pick it up and vape immediately. Coils do light up nicely and evenly once they get going, but by the time I put the cap back on and attempt to vape, nothing is happening. Vapor is less than what I was getting on my Buzz Pro, which coincidentally, broke the day I left for vacation (ugghhh!). I've gotten some hints of pleasant tasting juice (KBV Gooey Butter Cake, which in a carto was meh) but way too infrequently making me feel I'm so close and want to gulp something down and keep coming up empty. Most recently I observed during filing tank 2nd go round, juice is coming out of the wick hole as I am filing.
Coils are Zen wrapped, wick is not touching bottom of tank nor center post, wick is aligned with air hole and I'm vaping @ 3 o'clock (which I typically vape at any way, even with cartos). Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for all of your insight!
Juanita
are you using it w/ a AW high drain 18350 battery? also i didnt know that it would fit on that mod, good to know, also aparently it fits on a buzz pro. about the filling thing, try just filling it really fast with a syringe while tipping it on its side, i did the same thing the first couple times with mine till i remembered how chief told me to fill it.
This post really rubs me the wrong way... I am not going to bash, so I don't expect bashing in return. I am expressing my opinion in a non-antagonistic manner.
Zen, I know you are a nice person. I met you and shook your hand at VC. I know you often "bend over backwards" for your customers - I know this. BUT, you often ask your customers to have a little understanding on mistakes, such as hurrying to get product ready for VC. I think this goes both ways - you should try to have a little more understanding for your customers. Impatient? Yes, maybe, but then again my wallet was lighter by far immediately - is it wrong to expect that the product is immediately worth it?
Does Easy-Off work? Don't know, but it definitely made an improvement on my Cobalt. I am also curious to find out what the "update kit" is and the nature of the problem. Also, not all of your customers have time to read and follow this thread or any other with any thoroughness. Maybe a blog section on your HoH site that you can release important info on would be appropriate - again, just an idea. Disagree with me or not, my first ever experience with a Zen product has not been good so far (and I bought two).
Also, congratulations on closing on your house! Take it easy, relax a little, and have a great day!
I would also like to see a blog with info but with only one person doing all of this, adding more work to the mix isnt going to help. Maybe someone can compile all the useful zen posts and do it that way, for people to see on the HOH site.
saw this in another thread.....

lmao, looks like someone might of sat on his face and gave him herpes as well
Happy Birthday Shai and Congratulations Zen~!
My birthday is in June... maybe I could ask for a plane ticket as my gift?
I missed the MFA - what was it? I did see pics of the Blue Line and it's gorgeous!
matte finished aluminum, similar to the blueline w/out the anodised tank and button. very pretty and feels really cool in your hand i liked the texture a lot.
Speaking of the ride...
While Kcos was playing "push mikes buttons" about equality between women and men... I told her... "The trouble with women is that they never put the toilet seat back up when they are done using it..." She 'bout blew a gasket with that...
i think my gf would strangle me if i said that, rofl
That last line was definitely a critical part of your post...
rofl, yeah i was releived to see that...
I never thought about a mic case, awesome idea, my dad has a bunch of these, i may need to borrow one
I leave the seat down for myself!

I don't have to aim or think about it!
i usually do put it up, just because i dont want to miss and have my gf sitting in my pee.... unless im mad at her

Here it is!! Thank you so much Zen for Replacing my wife's ProVari!! She is so happy, and she will be on later after my son falls asleep tonight!! Can't believe that it came for quick!! Zen is like EF Huton, when he talks everyone listens!!
zomg, that is so awesome... i was thinking you should give provape the order# on the stolen one so if some idiot breaks it and tries to get it fixed it can possibly be returned to you. Again, so sorry and i cant beleive that happened to her, but very cool of mike to replace it. One of the many many reasons I will be a Zen customer for life.
hey, I'm only 21 with 29 years of experience

at least I don't look as old as my 'baby' brother (9 yrs younger than I)...he's got literally NO hair not including his bear pelt back lol (well maybe a few strands, ALL grey), 5'9" and 275lbs...I look like his younger brother, still barely any white in my hair albiet a small patch w/ none at all, back on the top of my head (1/3 my 'stache and soul patch are white lol)....and only 15-20lbs overweight @ just under 6' tall... it's not as easy to get rid of those extra pounds around your middle, the older you get lol...at least I'm in half way decent shape...I do cardio riding my MTB's whenever I can, and I ride hard. I give the 'young' ones a run for their money when I ride with a group
...last year, just after a 'quarry' ride...hair's much longer now
hey shai, why is your bike seat so high?
wow, you guys posted a lot today, took me forever to catch up
