I know, right? sometimes you wonder why screenwriters can't come up with anything original, instead of copying or remaking something that's already existed...

Yep, making movies based on old cartoons and comic books is proof that there is very little original thinking going on in the "entertainment" industry.

so can i use any sandpaper i find around the house or even steel wool to sand the switch pole of the cobalt?

btw-you can have a short with the provari and not get an error code

yeppers....a short can make a 4 wrap act like one with less wraps and still vaporize juice... it'd be dry, hotter, burnt and not operate properly.... a 'hot spot' is a form of short too.. you nudge your coil around to reseat the wraps a bit which in turn will fix that rather easily....If you have a clogged wick it would perform and act like a short as the juice isn't making it to your coil properly, makes it run very dry and a bit warm because there's no juice to vaporize and it will taste burnt or metallic as well... this is a good reason to do dry burn cleanings regularly (I do them once a week unless they gunk up real bad, then its done right away), I also run my fill needle down through the wick at that time to make sure there's no blockage...they will refresh your wick and coil and it doesn't need to break in like it was brand new...
