i vape the same way as ma'am. if the wick is not pointed down i am not getting wicking as fast as the coil burns the juice up. just with anything else you got to adjust to the device, not make the device adjust to you. I learned this with ce2's if you didn't tilt every so often it was bad. same principle here. You are fighting gravity, this tip makes gravity a moot point

someone mentioned this earlier and it might be the solution for some (including myself)

Make sure the coils are not shorting, then just leave it for a while and let it break in.

patience with these might be just the solution that is needed. I know I have a tendency to futz with things. Maybe that is not the right way?

Q~ What are the dimensions and tank sizes of the Zenesis?
A~ The Zenesis Standard - Diameter: .875", Height: 6.250" with a 5ml tank
The Zenesis Mini - Diameter: .875", Height: 4.500" with a 4ml tank

vic,
thanks, but I wanted just the tank dimensions. I have a local plastic supply store and was thinking about getting some backup plastic tanks made until zen gets the extra glass up. I am sure I will screw up the ones I have somehow. I love glass and plan on having backups, but figured I might make a couple of extra plastic to tide me over.

yep, it will be something really simple, make us feel stupid in the end. i think im going to try not changing anything for a while. just keep using it and see what happens. thats about the only thing i have not tried. after that maybe try another juice. good luck yeti

The first mesh coil atty I ever had was a pain to setup... I did exactly what you guys did... new mesh... new coil... another coil... another coil... another coil... must be the mesh... new mesh... coil coil coil coil...

Moments of good flavor... then tweaking again.

I hated it.

But I wouldn't let it beat me...

Then I just sat there firing it... adjusting the coil... burning it in... more adjusting... more burning... then I made a move I can't really describe... but it was nudging the coil... real gently... just a little touch... and it made a glow that was WAY different than the glow I had before... a calmer glow... less ferocious... All the times I thought I had it right looked differently... this was a nice warm... almost pretty glow.

Slow down...

Be patient... and be gentle with it.

Stop changing mesh, and keep adjusting the same coil. It was right when it shipped, and it got brute forced into not working... but it will be right... you can do this...

And then there is the realization that you can make a coil, and get it to glow, and every time after that it's easier because you know what to look for. And how to do it...

If it's more or less working... and you're getting a burnt taste and calling it a dry hit... if that was an atty what would you do? You would put in a higher resistance atty or lower the voltage... so on your Zenesis what do you do? Go to 5 wraps...

Sometimes the wicking issue is cause by too hot of a coil... think about that!

Too hot (which is the same symptom as dry wick, by the way) is solved how?

Add a coil...

Look at all the happy people that have worked through this... they are not all engineers and scientists... they are mechanics and housewives and legal professionals and retail store owners...

ANYBODY can do this, and so can you.

Slow down...

Be patient until you learn it. It's really pretty easy which you know the trick which you CAN learn... don't let frustration take over

and STOP CHANGING WICKS!

Standard is 3/4" ID and 1 5/16" tall (so are febbies)
